We suck for more than 20 years

Andrew Meraz

You need help if you think dallas needs a WR🤦🏽‍♂️

    Football Philosopher

@Barry Irvin I think trysten hill showed great promise last year, I heard many had a third round grade on him. I wanted DK Metcalf that year, to pair with Cooper and Gallup. My point about the WR or TE is only if Chase or Pitts are there and Farley or Surtain isn’t (really Farley). Waddle if his athletic traits are through the roof. There’s never been a season when a team had had too many mismatches at skill spots. There will be starters available at safety or CB at pick 44. Would I rather have two guys who I love at 10,44, and 77? Or my top pick was a reach for need? And he doesn’t get his 5th year option renewed. If you don’t renew a fifth year option the pick was bad! (Barring injury or off the field issues) Give me the guy who’s expectations are a decade with the team and legit ring of honor potential. Then it’s easier to draft, trade and sign other spots! Right now we need everything. Literally. Kicker, RG, C, RB are ok. LT, RT if you assume they’ll be back. Next year, WR, TE, RB, will likely be needs. If I can cross one off for five years as a “A” position I’m doing it if defensive value isn’t there.

    Barry Irvin

@Football Philosopher You meant we need a LG not RG .Center we are fine with Biadaez.Defensive tackle is a crying need as is CB and safety .I actually want Slater at 10 and go get Grant at 44 ..Good takes though on your part .Hill to me is a bust but will see this year .We passed on Thornhill to take him or Taylor Rapp .Yikes .

    Football Philosopher

@Barry Irvin I was saying kicker, RG, C and RB aren’t needs and we should hold off on LT, RT. Unless extreme value is there late 3rd or after. I like our 3 Techniques, Hill was good last year, Gallimore showed up too. The problem with drafting a A Tackle at 10, is that it’s only a good pick if you’re All Pro level Tackles don’t come back. Smith had the same injury for years and finally got surgery. Drafting a guy at 10 who won’t start, or will displace a starter you’re creating a while you’ll have to fill next year. We need to improve the line without having to use first and second round talent. That strategy is why our defensive talent has been mediocre at best for a decade. If we take slater, we need to get Tyron healthy and trade him. We’re not winning a super bowl without drastically improving this defense.

    Lefty Tears

I’m even confident going with Cedric wilson if we had to. But adding a speedy guy in the mid rounds wouldn’t hurt. I actually like Noah Brown too,and think he could be a solid starter.

    Barry Irvin

@Football Philosopher My guess is they take Surtain at 10 .You could move Slater to Left Guard as Williams isn’t very good and then move him to left tackle when Smith retires or is a salary cap causality .

Absolutely loved the debate between Dane and Jeff today. Really good arguments from both

marvelandgroup

Great thorough takes on the WR’s by Dane, Jeff and K.T.

Jerad Odell

Draft offensive tackle, QB, or corner at 10.

bigcartis17

What you guys think about Dyami Brown WR from UNC one of the best deep threat in the draft

bigcartis17

Ellerson Smith look pretty good in the senior bowl.

Chris Graham

Agree Dez Fitzpatrick super sleeper also I think Dallas media ah Lil too hard on Micah Parsons believe he gone be ah dogg!

Drew A

Hopefully teams like philly carry the same logic as Jeff does. The 170 vs 200 pound receiver debate is great and Jeff is totally wrong and I believe the majority would agree with Dane. Whatever team picks smith over chase will regret it.

Pacemaker 2

Give me any of those top 3 receivers and I would be doing back flips I think all 3 Smith, Waddle and Chase could and will be good in the right system but Smith is the truth and if Waddle doesn’t get hurt Bama might have broken all the receiving records as a unit!

    Pacemaker 2

Smith is one of the best receivers I have ever seen in college 💯!

    Pacemaker 2

Waddle and Chase are beast and there are many more good receivers in this draft the kid from Purdue his is scary good and the list can go on it depends on the teams preferences in this draft !

Love this content and debate!

KyleKatarn59

The scary thing about a player like Anthony Schwartz is if he winds up on an established team/scheme. I could see the Chiefs drafting him and making you defend every blade of grass with lethal speed at every WR position.

Benjamin Garza

Jeff example why dont 130 lb boxers fight 200 lb fighters

christian conte

Hahah Dane bodied Jeff!!!!

Jacob Hillin

Dane made me cringe a bit. Jeff is right. That 25 pound difference isn’t a big deal. In general players get hurt. I mean.. TE’s get hurt vs the same company of people that hit the WRs lol that ” extra body armor” didn’t help them, did it?

nuk2208

In this lesson we learned that size does matter

Paul Smethers

Notice how rare anyone talks about high football IQ players which many times outweighs speed. I would like to see a chart on how quickly speed degrades over different skill position careers. Also, quickness and balance are underrated measurements.

BeerChug Von

I would love to get your guys thoughts on TJ Vasher. 6’6 WR. I wouldn’t mind bringing him in. Developmental guy and a Gallup replacement

Thomas Sciallo

I like parson cause he graduated from college in 3 years and he’s a freak . Give me college players that are smart and have degrees
