Jerry Jones said this week he'd consider trading up in the 2022 NFL Draft. If that's the case, who might the Cowboys target?

Jeff hates Sam Williams – he’ll be an all pro

    Chris Graham

Yup and Olave but liked Gallup like he does Skyy but now

Don Leskovar

Unless we’re going to move up in the top 10 which would cost a ton of picks stay at24prospecs are very similar in talent

bigcartis17

Sam Williams played his first two years at LB and last season at DE and still has better production than guys ranked ahead of him.

    Mark Frederick

    He is stiff

    Chris Graham

    Beast

    Mike Armstrong

Had any off-field issues?? 🤔 He might be a perfect fit if he has bro!!

Football Philosopher

How about trading back from 24, and then getting Pickens in the late 1st if he’s there, and then using the second to move up a bit to get the Guard or even starting safety. Johnson and green could be a reach at 24… move back get more capital to move up in second and or third.

    Rafael Garza

    Agreed; I like the thought.

    redwoodninja

I think Pickens, Moore, or Christian Watson will be there in the 2nd, especially if we are trading back. I would probably take the best offensive lineman with the 1st still. Especially if Kenyon Green or Zion ate still there in the late 1st. Probably take WR with the first 2nd round pick, and if we have two 2nds as a result of the trade down, I’ll take a linebacker or BPA with the later 2nd. Hopefully Chad Muma or Quay Walker. If I have to wait till the 3rd. I’m taking Channing Tindall.

@redwoodninja The only challenge there is which guy lol. I’m certain the cowboys don’t have the same grades on them, let alone Moore and Pickens compared to a Watson. If you want one Johnson or green and Pickens or Moore… a higher second rounder than 56 is going to be needed. But yeah, I like the idea of a day one caliber starter LB in round 3 . WR and TE are urgent needs for this team and it’s harder to replace those in free agency than good LB play.

    Mike Armstrong

@Football Philosopher Your very knowledgeable and we would appreciate you over on Facts Only Sports YouTube channel.

Jesse T

The best move is to stay out and take the best guard or move back 3-5 spots. It’s too expensive to move up for any of the top flight players. If Neal or Ekwonu fall past 10 then I would be interested.

Myron

JEFF CAVANAUGH! Thank you for getting him in the show🙏

Supreme Allied Commander

Based on what D. Quinn did with the defense, I’ll give him whomever he wants…. unless it’s for a N. Wright

    Mike Armstrong

I’m hearing that Sam Williams DE Ole Miss is Quinn’s guy.

Rmf 22

I get that Jeff likes Moore,, so do I..but he always talks about “value”..so if we have a choice between Moore or Pickens why trade up for Moore?? Pickens has a higher value as an outside WR and CD can play the slot..why trade up for a guy who is more likely to make an NFL living in the slot if there’s a legit outside guy available to u??

Tony Ho

I love it when Jeff was saying how the 1st guy doesn’t bring Skyy Moore down, the 1st highlight of Moore was being brought down by the first tackler, quite easily I may say. And the same the next highlight. Jeff is overselling Moore, imo!

    redwoodninja

He is overselling Moore, but let the man dream. Lol! To me he is still in the same league with the first round guys. I think he’s better than Dotson, Pickens, or Watson.

Danny Savage

If you can get your LT for the next 10 years moving up to 14 costing a second rounder you pull the trigger

Danny Savage

Jeff love your content started listening to you during pandemic got me through a lot of sleep less nights and I am grateful for your content but your pet cats are always busts. Jalen Ragor Marvin Wilson like two years ago that safety from APP state think radius Washington on “ safety guy you ever been right on

C1L2D3

I wanna hear more about Jack Sanborn and Cade Otton

Rafael Garza

The best episode yet; keep them coming, boys.

    Mike Armstrong

Bro have you checked out Facts Only Sports YouTube channel yet. Great content over there. Official invite to you sir.

    Rafael Garza

    @Mike Armstrong thank you, Sir.

But we require our RBs to be able to run, catch the ball out of the backfield and be able to pick up blitzes. If you can’t do any of the 3, you can’t play in the NFL.

redwoodninja

Malcolm Rodriguez would be a perfect option for the Cowboys in the 4th or 5th. I think he could play immediately as a run stuffer. His reads are really good, and he can disrupt the run, which is something we could really use.

Antbeast23

Kenyon green first round
Metchie or wr 2nd round
Tindall 3rd round
Wydernayer 4th round
Thomas edge 5th round
Double dip oline
Corner

Pablo Rogoff

I would not trade up in the second round for Sam Williams especially after Kelvin Joseph scenario. He has a bad pass. I have seen Williams in the 3rd round in a lot of mock drafts. Maybe trade up in the 3rd round for him.

MYSTIC MIKE GAMER

Thks BB, Jeff, and Dave y’all are great ! 🐐

chris davis

I generally don’t agree with Kyle about a lot of these prospects, but he is rattling off his notes from memory about back to back to back players, doesn’t need a computer in front of him and he makes 5 different day 3 RB’s and his scouting notes on all of them. That tells me he’s actually doing solid work which I can absolutely respect, good on you Kyle.

chris davis

Malcom Rodriguez runs the same 40 time as CeeDee Lamb… if that’s not fast enough for a forward playing LB how is it fast enough for a WR?
