Things not to do at pick 17:: Do not try to move down. Pick the best available player. The most important player in your board if it is gone, go draft the best wide receiver or offensive tackle or center. Avoid defensive line player if they are not high in your board. If a QB of great expectation because injury fall to your lap, let me tell you, stay away from him and do not use your pick on that player. Do not pick a safety if the best safety is gone. Make sure to beef up the offensive line in later rounds. I believe the second round is the best round for picking a QB of great potential but not ready to play for you immediately. Back to #17, please do move up 7 or 10 spots and pick a pass rusher if the price is not unfair. Listen very carefully, late in drafts there are numerous players that can play in NFL. If you do not believe me call Skip Bayless.

I miss bryan😢. Atleast he would talk about mid round prospects and hidden gems. These guys just talk about the same first round guys every week. I’d love to hear about some players that are hurt and will fall. Maybe even some players that have red flags but are talented enough to be drafted late.

Cowboys should call teams ahead of time so they can prepare for trades etc during the draft

I’m sorry, but I listen to 10 minutes of Youmans and I just have to stop. Not very knowledgeable, entertaining, or a good host. The draft show has obviously regressed. I do like Helman and Cavanaugh.
This sounds like they’re focused on versatility and position flex. Like the NE model, good at a few things not great at anything. I hope they can trade down and get Delpit.
They need to focus on building the best roster long term, not just who’s best for this year. Over Drafting a player ALWAYS hurts.
