Doug, I love you but you talk too much. That’s exactly got you in trouble with the Groh comments one day before firing him. What ever happened to coaches holding their cards close to their chest before letting everyone else know what the plan is? It’s called strategy and “internal” need to know. Not for the world’s need to know. This also includes pre and post game interviews throughout the season. He talks too much!! Take a page out of the Belichick guide to successful coaching and give minimal information and mumble your way to the Super Bowl. Fly Eagles Fly!! 🦅🦅

Groh was a terrible Offensive Coordinator. Doug’s play calling was fine. The play designs sucked. That’s on Groh.

Frank Reich is head coach of the colts. It wasn’t just Reich who did it, otherwise the Colts would’ve done better it’s a collective collab between them.

When I hear Howie speak, it fills me with confidence. Doug used to make me feel confident. This year he’s making me nervous. His outlook on play calling and how it wasn’t even up for discussion worries me. Not to mention how fast Press Taylor has been promoted. In 3 years he’s gone from someone I didn’t even know working for the team to quarterback coach to basically OC but just the passing game. He’s easily the youngest “coach” ever to be at his position. Duece deserved it just based on our running back production the last 3 years, getting the most out of all our running backs. He didn’t even get interviewed this year.
I’m definitely still going to show faith but this year will decide a lot for me as far as being on board with this direction. That’s completely excluding Howie, cause that man is the best GM in the league, it’s not his fault we couldn’t use Golden Tate or DeMarco Murray or anyone thats looked good on another team and failed here.
