Fournette was only drafted because of Coughlin. The coaches never wanted him. Mix that with some “attitude issues” and this is what you get. It’s very telling that no one wanted to even trade a 7th rounder for him. Plus, he no longer fits the offense. Gruden runs more of shotgun/spread but Fournette thrives when it’s ground and pound and he gets over 20 touches a game. Even then, he did not live up to being a 4th overall pick. Yes he can’t control where he’s drafted but he’s not elite. Just good. So while this is shocking as far as the timing, it kinda makes sense

I loved this team for more then a decade I’m starting to lose the love for this team. Too many losses & bad decisions . This is not the team I once new & love !
