Not really a comeback player since before last season he didn’t really play. He broke out last season coming off the bench and now he’s starting for a new team. To be a comeback player, usually you have to start high, fall off, then rise again.
I really miss the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s style of football where teams would actually run the ball 30 times a game. Blocking downhill, using a fullback, just straight up overpowering defenses, having the running back be an integral part of the offense; they all seem like foreign concepts today with all these read option, spread offenses that pass the ball at least 50 times a game. I think if the NFL transitioned back to that style of play like what the Panthers displayed tonight, I think a lot more people would enjoy the game. The modern football game is too much like college with offenses stalling out way too much

I think they eventually will. Trends come and go. The NBA will change from the spamming 3pts too. But right now passing more is still technically the smarter option. Until the QB and tackling rules change it always will be
