I’m gonna give the Eagles an overall grade of a B+. The first round was an A+. The way Howie worked the first round was amazing stuff. The second round is a B- and only because of Landon’s injuries if he clears his injuries it’s an A+. In the 3rd round and 4th round, I will give it a C+. The Milton pick was fine but I think he could have picked another position at that spot and Zech I really don’t know much about him so I’m not giving an opinion. The Gainwell pick is a B+. He will be our Nyheim Hines. The rest of the draft gets a B- because I like the D-lineman they picked.
Smith’s trainer says he runs somewhere in the 4.35 range and that’s about what I see on tape. Not only that, but he has not only a second gear, but a third one.
I honestly just need to know in what Draft is landon dickerson higher then JOK on the draft board in my opinion i think howie missed on this one.
I think it’s really simple. Where does the player rank at their position vs the value that they have set on that position?

I think they are looking at the talent it Dickerson and they had a plan to not get a linebacker like JOK because of guys they already have and drafted Davion Taylor (Rd 3) and Shaun Bradley (Rd 6) last season. They’ve signed Eric Wilson, there’s depth at Linebacker especially with Stevens and Patrick Johnson from Tulane who’s gonna compete with Gernard Avery for the pass rush linebacker role like Minnesota has with Anthony Barr. They built last year’s draft around getting younger offense by taking two wide receivers and two offensive linemen Driscoll, Prince Tega Wanogho. They are running a scheme similar to Minnesota.
The question is… would zimmer draft this JOK for his scheme? If the answer is “i don’t know”, then you are not qualified to say if Howie missed on this player. If the answer is yes, then which player if playing has the chance to make the pro bowl more years, dickerson or JOK and lead the locker room?
Howies move to leapfrog the giants via cowboys to get Smith was as good as the SB PhillySpecial !
