Devin has to be the biggest boom or bust linebacker out there. I mean he can look like a pro bowler in one game and then like a rookie the next its maddening. I use to chalk it up to injury but i don’t think he’s intelligent enough to play the position and be anything but a liability to these Bucs. Some Defensive Pressure from the front four will mask some of these short comings but any legitimate team is gonna beat the brakes off Tampa with this guy as a captain. His effort against Baltimore was so bad he should have been benched and like Sapp said rip that C off this mans jersey.
Nah this ain’t it… Devin white is goated blame the man behind the defense the guy whole single handedly BOTCHED the divisional game against the RAMS you call a blitz? A cover 0 ? Hmmm, thought that was a little weird answering the question about what can he do to notch things up and then to say “I play a team sport.” That doesn’t sound like leadership to me… A leader would set an example about something he can (and will) do better going forward. If I was one of the other defensive players on the team hearing the captain saying that… not sure that would call me to my best.
