Beating GB is thee #1 goal every year. Well done DC and Team. Coach, take a vacation, recharge and bake to work by February. We got it going on now, let’s build this team. I am finally proud of this team for the first time in like 15 years.
Winning the superbowl should be the goal every year. Hold them to a higher standard.
@Matthew Mrocca In the first half, the packers played hard and drove the ball but didn’t try any deep passes nor any risky overhead passes like they have all year. This is because the Packers didn’t need this win so they played safe. They wanted to win of course what Superbowl contender wouldn’t? However the whole goal was to keep the players fresh by playing them, but, with little to no risk of injuries. The second half was played by players that won’t even see the field again, until maybe pre-season next year. I’m glad you Detroit fans got to end the season on a high note. But thinking this is the sign that your team is competitive once again….Well, why not go ahead,… believe.

I am loving Dan Campbell this lions team is going to be scary next year they fight all year they had lots of close games Dan Campbell and this team was a mess because everyone hating Matt patricia if we didn’t lose all the players we would of won more games but this team is looking scary and a surprising team all players and reporters loves Dan Campbell and Aaron glenn coaching young talents defense it not easy but we get mores turnovers put more pressure I am telling you get more pass rushers and help on coverages this defense will be fine next year too and offense we fire Anthony lynn I hope Dan Campbell calls the offensive plays next year but I don’t think he will but If we get more weapons jared Goff will be fine for this team since we got josh Reynolds he been throwing better and making plays this team I love the lions forever but this team is finally changing can’t wait for next year free agents and drafts.
If they can get another Pass rusher and 1 or 2 outside WRs to compliment Hockenson and St Brown working the middle to go along with the running game they will be a pesky team noone wants to play

Funny…. All I saw was the Packers need a different backup QB rather than Love. You do realize this was a preseason game for the Packers right? No aggression in the play calling what so ever. There was no over the head deep passes, or many screen passes at all. They needed to play their starters just to keep them fresh, but couldn’t risk any injuries. But I get it. When you spend most of the season wearing paper bags over your heads, a win like this is your Superbowl. Good luck next year. I hope your team is finally done sweeping the gutters.
@Superintendent Chalmers I like Cephus, he was putting together a decent season before he broke his collar bone but I think he will be more of a possession guy. Lions need a speed guy that can make a D pay when they put 8 in the Box

You can feel a culture being built that’s the key. The players love their coach and play hard for him. Dan has this team heading in the right direction. America is rooting for you. Wish you guys the best in the draft and free agency.

Sending an entire team and coaching staff into the off-season on a massive positive note vs basically having to lose on purpose just to move up 1 draft pick, in my opinion is the only way to play this game. Good on MCDC for leading his team with pride to the end.

I personally would continue with Dan as play caller. Unless we hire for OC internally. Ben Johson has stepped up. Before we jump and make him play caller we should stkeast have a preseason/3 regular season game stretch where play calling is shared. outside looking in, we don’t know how much of an influence Ben has. But what ever it is, it’s working.
Great send off to the 2021 year and springboard for next season. Terrific to see the offense with such good chemistry and truly earning this win. Go Lions!!!
