I think we can trust Holmes to build that D for next year.
At this point I’m on the Goff wagon now. We know what he is. He is certainly no Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady or Jalen Hurtz but he is a top tier QB amongst the league and he is playing like it. He is at least top 10 right now and his stats show that. I’m okay with the team going all Defensive picks this coming draft. We can draft a later round qb or forgoe this year. Jared has proven he can win with this team and the offense is humming with him. Given a full off season with Jamo as well I’m confident next year will see more big plays. After 16 games I’m confident that what we’ve seen in the later half of the season is the real Lions team Sheila and Brad have built. Credit to Brad for finding the talent, for Dan for building it and for the players and coaches for putting it all together. Whatever happens, playoffs or not, this season was more than we could have asked for as fans. ONE PRIDE BABY
What most people are missing is this draft is loaded with quality seniors that “stayed an extra year” because of the “C19 Year”. That is true at EVERY Position. We can “steal” a really nice developmental & Backup Qb in rounds 3-5.
