Noah Pollack I’ve heard good things about Slater . I’ve also heard comparisons to Jonathan Ogden for Sewell from Oregon . Either way I think our O line is our strength of our team

Reminds me of the 2004 Pistons……No big “Superstars”, just a bunch of hardworking players with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove. They gelled as a TEAM, trusted the process and won a championship. Add the culture that Brad and Dan are creating here and the future could be very bright for #OnePride!

I don’t think people realize Ja’marr Chase could very likely fall to us now, or even Penei Sewell after all these trades… either of those guys would be a slam dunk and the more I watch of Devonta Smith the more alright I am with taking him as well. He would be phenomenal for Goff
An OT is what’s going to be best imo, because as can be seen by the evidence of his career, Goff isn’t generally going to carry a team. He has to have a great run game to even be serviceable. This draft is so deep at WR that 1st round talent at the wide out position can be had in the second round. These guys know they are going to run the ball. They’ve even said so. To have ANY success with Goff, it’s a must. It’s already going to be hard enough on Goff going to a team that only has probably around 30% of the talent that he’s used to having surrounding him on the Rams. Just my two cents.
@Jimmy Short if Chase is there I would take him. But if Sewell falls obviously you can’t pass that up.
The shear transparency from Brad and Dan is awesome, it’s like they really want the fans to be involved and know what’s going on in the organization

@Jesse Amos yep. Patricia and Quinn had “smartest guy in the room” syndrome and acted like they were to smart for the fans. The only times Quinn actually talked to the fans was right after the season and right before the combine. The organization is actually keeping fans in the loop now.
Sounds like Parsons might be fine for Holmes. He’s too good, and the need is glaring. I think he would upgrade the defense immediately.

Sounds like they’re going Parsons to me. When speaking about Reeves-Maybin, it sounded like he’s seeing him as Special Teams, which only leaves 2 starters

Help these one year players improve to a higher level and treat them with respect (unlike the prior regime), and they may stay in Detroit at a discount should they and Lions want that to happen
Am I the only one who noticed that Dan said at 38:26, “We love Swift, we think he’s going to grow into something special…but you have to have another back…” – referring to Jamaal Williams; not mentioning Kerryon Johnson. I fully expect them to trade or cut Johnson (hopefully) very soon…
