Ok..my guess is Robert Salah and that former atlanta GM…with marvin Louis as an outside chance…what does everyone else think ?
I would be good with Dimtroff(Atlanta) but I would prefer Chris Spielman (Brother is GM for the Vikes) for GM despite his lack of experience. IMO, Lewis would just be Caldwell v. 2.0. Not sure about another coach. We’re not gonna get the cream of the crop.
Chris Spielman is not going to be our next GM lol. He’s already set in his role.
Wood is one reason why the Lions have been bad. Get a qualified president

im thinking Rick Smith and Louis Riddick be Co GM, one handles the Draft/ College Scouting, the other Handles Pro Scouting/ FA. they both do one well, why not hire them both and Split the Responsibility?

That man is in charge of the Ford Family’s tangible assets. It is in his and their best interest to make that team successful and profitable. You don’t do that by sucking. What I admire about Rod is that he is willing to admit his mistakes and find solutions. I like his candid and his transparent as possible approach. I suspect he is a good leader of people and will listen to the experts’ advice. I don’t care that he’s not a ‘football man’. That’s not his job.

I think that the next general manager should build around Matthew Stafford. If that candidate don’t like Matthew Stafford. Then that candidate should be eliminated. Has for trading Decker daul Johnson &4 others from the defensive side of the team. I believe that the team could use that money to resign receivers Marvin Jones & Kenny gailaday. This team doesn’t have to make many moves. Just make those changes and I believe that things will improve from there. Has for the next head coach of the Detroit Lions. Darrell bevell should be the guy. He knows those players and knows how to make the changes that needs to be made has a head coach. And also before I do forget. Has for the draft. I believe with Darrell bevell as the head coach of the Detroit Lions & also the next GM. If they learn how to work together. This team will be right up there with the rest of the legue. Those are my thoughts. Looking forward to hear from anyone who has any thoughts of there own.
I think Bevell working with Saleh would be a good combination. Definitely need to keep Bevell in Detroit, he may return next year with his original job as O.C.
Let Bevell continue coaching the offense and let Robert Saleh come in as the head coach, while bringing coaches over to help on the defensive side of the ball.
