Give this man a new contract. They will be searching for a new head coach, but they already have this one. Give him a two year head coaching deal. Let him coach Stafford until the end of his contract.
@Equality 7-2521 well for one thing I never mentioned anything about Saleh but it doesn’t matter anyway. We’re not in the driving seat when it comes to selecting who we want because it’s not the most desired gig around the league and there’s a lot more incentives elsewhere. When you’re the Lions you have to take chances on coordinators being a first time HC because we don’t have the luxury of getting “the guy” because they go elsewhere 🤷🏻♂️
@PlanB Then hire Caldwell or Bevell. Both are players coaches that are fine leaders. Caldwell is a proven winners. Bevell I have faith will win as a head coach. Hiring Caldwell or Bevell gives Stafford the best chance at finishing his contract with Detroit.
@Equality 7-2521 ya we won some games but tell me who we beat noteworthy of mentioning? Did we make it past the wildcard game? Did we win the division even when we went 11-5? If it wasn’t for Stafford making 8 comeback wins down the stretch we would’ve been 0-16 or 1-15 his last year here. #9 singlehandedly got us a winning record at the end.
@Equality 7-2521 I want Bevell to succeed, because if he doesn’t we’re going to be losing Stafford and he’s the best thing we’ve had since Barry Sanders. I’m just sceptical about how things will go if we screw up the GM hire.
@PlanB Yeah, I agree. Detroit will screw it up. They aren’t interested in winning. They will hire some GM, and then he will hire a rookie head coach. They will lose a bunch, short Stafford, and the new coach will just be used as a stop-gap. He will be replaced in a few seasons. It goes on and on. Winning isn’t what football is about. It’s about money and advertising.

Will it be at the end of the season or after a few more times of cutting off the beginning of questions and replies like usual? It can’t be that difficult to hit RECORD BEFORE someone starts talking. I wish they would run AP at fullback and Kerryon at tail and run flat passes every once in a while. They can both catch. If they can get those guys in a little bit of space!
I wish they’d trade Kerryon (that is if we can get any takers) dude’s a bust and he’s not going to get any faster or healthier on that knee. AP does to much jumping around at the line and he’s not what he used to be but still thinks he is. We need to stop with the outside zone runs with him and just drive right up the gut more between the guards…1 cut and go!
I want Bevell or Caldwell to be hired as HC. I won’t watch the Lions if they don’t hire one of those guys.

Only problem with social justice in football is that most of the players are not aware of organizations true intentions. Taking powerful organizations at face value is a dangerous decision.
Half the questions were about non football stuff. The teams could stop having these everyday pressers and most wouldn’t even notice.
