I disagree, you can be the right person for a position, but still have to learn and grow on the job.. unless you’re a surgeon, then you should be ‘schooled, ready, and extremely knowledgeable’
I’m cool with it him and and Holmes will get their guys in the building over the next two seasons, get their qb, keep ag as our defensive coordinator and all we have to do is fine the right play Caller. This year and next season legit do not matter. Higher picks the better to build back this skeleton of a team and lack there of talent.
More trick and gadget plays. Give the headset to the OC so the HC can manage the details like the clock. CFL is looking pretty good right now.
Swallow your pride and let Lynn go back to play calling, you already have enough on your plate and adding play calling to that is just too much especially when you’re not used to being a play caller

This may be hard to hear right now but Coach Campbell is just not experienced enough to turn this team around. There are some coaches who are first time head coaches and are better able to take a team like this and turn it around. The lions have too much to overcome and it will take too long to do it. Someone like Harbaugh would be a better person to do this as an example. I would have brought in Jimmy Johnson, Bill Parcells and elite coach to turn this ship around.
It’s the truth. You don’t claim to want to change the losing culture of a football team and not bring in the most experienced coach possible
