Too everybody saying he didn’t look happy to be drafted by the Lions…Barring injury he’s probably the top reciever on the board and is drafted in the top 5, so yeah a little disappointed he’s losing money, I get it. The young man has been rehabing the entire time to be ahead of schedule, which I’d imagine takes a lot out of you. He’ll be fine.

DUDE EXACTLY! Everyone was freaking out saying omg we gave up so many picks. We gave up a 3rd that’s it. We fleeced the Vikings in the trade and got the best wr in this draft class in my opinion. The value of picks 12 and 46 is a lot higher than the value of picks 32 34 and 66.

What I can tell from the interview is that he’s gonna make other teams mad they didn’t get him.
For everyone that’s saying we gave up sooooo much to get the best wr in this draft you would be incorrect. We gave up a third round pick, moved from 34 back to 46 and moved from 32 all the way up to 12. We lost 1 pick. We fleeced the Vikings. We still have a second and third round pick, a 5th and 2 6ths. Oh and next year we have two firsts again and two 3rds.

Detroit is a great spot for Williams to be. The Lions have depth in receivers, which will allow a healthier recovery for his ACL tear. He has mad talent, and will be great, best to make sure that he is 100% before he steps on the field.
That offense, if Goff can get rolling sooner, is going to make a big leap in 22-23. Already had a lot of growth in 21.. with injuries/young players getting valuable playing time.. highlighted by Sewell’s protection and St Brown proving to be a slashing threat.
I hope they get a DB in round 2 and a QB in 2023.. I think that class will be higher quality.
