Dean looks like a good LB but don’t forget he played behind the best D line in College Football. He didn’t have to take on many O lineman, a lot of the times he was running around free to make the tackle.
You know I never thought of it that way with quay walker, jordan davis up the middle and trayvon walker. It’s definitely something to keep in mind, I think what sticks out most is his speed and ability to take guys down on contact right away and just sniff stuff out easily, but that is very true. There’s good linebackers in this draft just gotta be smart about who you take, I wanted linebacker with 1 of our first two picks but honestly I’m starting to lean more towards finding a diamond in the rough in later rounds

But did you see the sack he had he bent around the guard and got in there and almost took the handoff. But imo an oline vs LB 1 on 1 has to favor the lineman.
Steve o most won’t like this but im.starting to lean towards Ikem Ekwonu Tackle out of NC state to pair with Sewell at on the right side & rid big V best O line I league u draft him curve ball but realistic
a LOT of ultra fast/talented receivers in this draft….along with facing Adams, Jefferson in their division.. lions BETTER have an exceptional pass rush…it’s the only REAL defense…last 2 SB’s…came down to qb PROTECTION….NOT qb talent/receivers

The more I see & hear from Jermaine Johnson, the more I like him. If trading back an option, I would definitely vote in favor of taking him!
Hutchinson is a born leader and he never quits.
The Lions draft goal should be to take as many defensive players as they can from Georgia’s line up. Period.

Florida state rusher sounds cocky. The top 2 pass rushers stop the run very well as well.
Whatever direction they go in LB has to addressed at 32 or 34. Some mock drafts have the Lions taking flyers on WR’s who are currently banged up at the end of round 1. Please don’t do that. WR’s can be found in the middle rounds. That linebacker group of the Lions is in desperate need of an overhaul.

I can’t help but feel the same way. As much as I hope the Jags don’t take Aiden, Hamilton is seriously as close as one can get in trying to predict a future perennial All-Pro/possible HOFer out of college. A perfect first piece to build a championship D around & lead it for the next 10-12 yrs. I’d be so stoked if they took him at 2 as well. But I seriously doubt it, even if Hutchinson isn’t available.
