@Mark Learst Some engineers have no idea how to think. I’ll never forget my electrical engineering friend who was a huge fanboy of Tesla, and this was 10 years ago. I tried to explain the shortcomings of this car and why people wouldn’t want it. He wasn’t having any of it. Just refused to go by the facts. When push came to shove, he pulled out the “I’m an engineer card” and said he was smarter than I was.
I think a lot of these people do well in school because mom and dad pushed them, but when it comes to thinking for themselves and working with others, they can’t do it.

Caldwell started winning games when the season was a wash. When they decided to try out some trick plays against losing teams they would end up winning. I liked Caldwell but no we would still have a mediocre team if he was here. Is it better than Patricia? Sure but we wouldnt get a ring with Calwell either.
Gregory Megatron what?? Man, Caldwell made the playoffs 2 of his 4 years. 😂 how is that winning when it doesn’t matter? He also should’ve had a decent playoff run if they didn’t rob them agaisnt the cowboys.
Rod Marinelli had more wins at this point in his tenure. Let that sink in……
The lions will finish last in : Takeaways , Run Defense, pressures , qb hits and Sacks …. if you didn’t realize all these are Defensive stats ! Fire Matty P ! He has one job ! This is inexcusable!
What does that matter? Your ignorant to point out defensive stats but not offensive smh.. yesterday the lions scored 14 points (1st quarter) and 7 points (4th). 0 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.. you know what’s so crazy?!.. the packers scored the majority of there points in the 2nd (14) and 3rd (17). It’s not the defense.. if you actually pay attention and don’t just see what you want.

The curse of Jim Caldwell is running now. Im not to sure how long that curse is after the Bobby Lane curse is over.
Jim was an affirmative action hire. He literally just stood on the sidelines and watched. There’s a reason no other team jumped to hire him as head coach when he was fired. Adam Gase got a job, what, within a day or two after getting fired? Even Marvin Lewis should be coaching another team but he chose to be loyal and go down with the Bungles ship.
Caldwell got in with the Lions with a pretty good team that Schwartz built up. That’s what made him look good but he was starting to go down by the end of that season. Patricia is trying but man, this is a really badly run team.

The numbers may change, but the comments are valid, year after year after year after year, etc. – Please change the numbers and names to update the comment for this year, LMAO. 1 playoff win in 57 years – 57 YEARS. Losing team and organization. Doesn’t matter who is coaching or playing. Doesn’t matter who the GM is, who does the drafting or who’s handling the salary cap. Doesn’t matter If they’re playing at home, on the road or in someone’s fantasy-filled field of dreams. This is the Lions. They lose. They lose when they’re supposed to lose, they lose when they shouldn’t lose – they lose. It’s that simple. I read all the comments and it cracks me up. If they would’ve done this, if Caldwell would do that, if they blitz, if they get more creative, if they control the ball – blah, blah, blah. They are the Lions – they lose. The players are losers, the coaches are losers, the front office staff are losers, the people who pay hundreds of dollars to see a game are losers, the owners are losers, the poor people whose jobs are to sell their ticket plans to fans are losers, the sports writers who coddle them and make excuses are losers. They lose. It’s the Lions. There are no fixes, there are no answers, there are no game plans, lucky bounces, referee calls or changes in personnel that will change their pathetic past, present or future. Welcome Mr. Quinn. Enjoy a job while you have one. Because on your way out you’ll have the same label as the countless thousands who have hitched their reputation to the Lions wagon – LOSER
I don’t think I’m imagining anything, but every time this team changes GM and coaches, nothing changes on the field. I swear to God. Different front office, coaches and players, but the product on the field is still the same.
Reminds me of bad jobs I had where the owner was a total idiot or corrupt and ran the place into the ground.
