Thank god youre not the coach.The defense was playing good for most of the game so i dont blame him for taking the points and trusting his defense to get a stop

@Dont Care About Your Feelings coaching was terrible Stafford dug then out of a terrible situation you can’t tell me that was planned they lost under the coaching under Stafford’s leadership they won. Lol swift is a monster all they decide is to give it to AP to get 1 yard maybe all first few drives. Just idiotic
@Jacob Olson Yes i know but thats on bevel. Patricia isnt involved in the offense that much. I agree 100% Swift is the truth and you can see the difference in our offense when he was out there because opposing defenses dont know whats coming. When peterson is in there they know its gonna be a run up the gut and they know when kerryon johnson is in there hes just in there for pass protection. Shits too predictable Bevels gotta be more creative than that
@Jacob Olson so what everyone seems to be forgetting is the other guy gets paid too. The Falcons are 1-6 but they aren’t a bad team ask the Vikings!! The Falcons and the Lions have more in common than differences, both have above average QBs both struggle of defense to get a pass rush consistently both focus of stopping the run, neither defense is lights out and both offenses can strike quickly. Yes Atlanta started slow but they will win some games, is Detroit a playoff team? Well….we will see both teams are building
I still think we should hire a new coach but we have to be smart.

I give Patrica credit for changing up, they look like they fixed the run defense and not running man coverage every play!!!! When a team runs zone their gonna give up receptions the DB’s are doing a great job at not giving up any big plays!!!!
I think that’s the major difference is that the zone eliminates the big play opportunities. They can’t run the zone the entire time I think Okudah and Amani are good enough to have some man-on-man opportunities. I’d say run zone 70-80% of the time and man around 20-30% but they’ll figure it out completely eventually what works the best for them but the better gauge is that it looks like the run defense has really improved this season.

To his credit, he challenged 12 man on the field and worked out in our favor. our defense is coming alive and Kenny brings that heat for the Lions.

These last two games and not just because they won, but I see a different team out there. There’s been a pass rush, some takeaways, a running game that has been very respectful and that has helped Stafford open it up better. Also special teams coverage has been great including Fox the new punter. If they can keep playing like this, they can make this fun for lions fans, and fight for a wild card. I’m not convinced or drinking the Kool aid yet, but I see potential and good game coach! Keep it up Lions please!
Atlanta lost the game with bonehead play calling. Detroit did not win by coaching or strategy.
