This is where the new DC Cory Undlin makes a huge difference in having a secondary coaching background. This is why I was telling people to be more patient with this defense because sooner or later he was gonna have this secondary balling out like they did yesterday. That Amani and Okudah duo at the corner position is going to be scary for years to come. That’s the one thing that Slay never had when he was here was a competent #2 corner next to him we got them now and still for now we got Trufant as well.
It has very little to do with patience or waiting for the team to mesh. This was a very different defensive strategy and almost entirely different scheme. Im guessing undlin got to implement his ideas and do what he wanted to do.
