This is a great pick by the Falcons

    Blacklight Productions

Sadly he’s overrated… I’ve been watching him since he was a true freshman and the number one problem he has is he panics when the pressure gets to him… He makes a lot of bad decisions and he’s not the most accurate passer… He just had TREMENDOUS talent around him that made him look better than he was coupled in with playing ALOT of bad teams throughout his college career.

    ATL PRODUCTIONS

Bro he’s horrible… mariota is better. We just wasted our pick.

    Mr. Onehundon

    @ATL PRODUCTIONS I hope you’re wrong

    Ronnie Strickland

@Blacklight Productions tremendous talent? You know he played at UC right?

Sawyerboy2

Amazing pick! ATL❤️🖤❤️🖤

Yes sir don’t listen to other people opinion because they don’t know what there talking about let it play out

    ATL PRODUCTIONS

No it’s not. He’s horrible. We wasted our pick

The Unknown Gem

Not mad at this pick at all. Well done TF.

You got a better option genius?

Jiggy Playz

Hopefully he can keep a good home field win percentage like in college because we almost never win at home

@Blacklight Productions We got an ex girlfriend out here

    Emmanuel Yesudasan

@Blacklight Productions he gonna have fun running for his life on the falcons

    Jessie Holloway

I know right. It was painful as a season ticket holder watching other team fans chanting and carrying on after they have beaten us in our own house

Jacob Guy

This is honestly the QB I wanted I was never high on Willis can’t wait to have him in the ATL!

Willis isn’t the best QB I’ve seen, but I believe he’s better than Ridder… Definitely does better under pressure.

    Ga PYRODAWG

@MakeUFumble Willis is a “project” QB meaning he’s gonna have to be brought on & developed. That means he’s gonna need a few years to learn & grow. Which also means you’ll pay him a few years to hopefully study and progress, then you may have to pay a Untested QB decent to big money when his rookie contract is up. We don’t need a project at this point in the rebuild.

    Bryce Taylor

Would’ve taken Matt Corral will be the best QB out of them all, I hope Ridder is the real deal thoufh

    Shahmir

@Bryce Taylor yeah, I see it with Pickett and Corral.

I want to see it with Ridder (not just because he’s a Falcon now but he’s a great kid)

Warren Mason

Looks like he has a cannon for an arm and has decent pocket awareness. Let him get a few reps here and there and he might be the qb of the future

    Scarface Hill

    @Ali no we not

    Ali

@Scarface Hill ok we aren’t. Congrats, happy?

    Ga PYRODAWG

We drafting a QB next year, he’s just a possible “Plan B” that could actually work out and allow us to burn that 1st pick on something other than a QB next year. If he’s a Bust no worries, we didn’t mortgage the future on him. Remember we only got Felipe Franks and Marcus Mariota on the roster as QB’s so we needed a 3 hopefully not so soon 2. If he takes the reins and things go bad, worse case scenario we still picking top 5 next year. If he takes over & shines, we could have our next QB with the ability to spend that 1st Rd pick on some other Need.

    Warren Mason

@Ali notice I said he might be, he could either be great or mediocre but if he gets the right development then he has the potential to be great. A number of great qb have gone in the third and later, it is just a matter of athleticism and determination. I am just being optimistic and looking at the potential of having a good qb that we can legit build around since his cap hit is so low

    Ali

@Warren Mason Stop it dude. The only great QB drafted in the third round or further in the past 20 years is Russell Wilson. It is extremely rare to find a good QB in the late rounds.

T A

Thought he’d be gone early 2nd late 1st after Pickett got taken. Big steal.

Jason Grigsby

Only time will tell, but I honestly believe we got this one right.

Brandon D.

What an awesome draft this has been

Maniachael Productions

Dude literally had a game where he threw 3 TDS, ran for a 4th, and caught a 5th. I don’t know who invented the narrative that he’s not good other than the playoff committee who tried to keep Cincy out, but y’all need to pay attention and put respect on this man’s name. He’s a baller.

Jose Gonzalez

If he can fix the slight throwing issues he could be Josh Allen 2.0, great pick

Tony rohers

It was a wonderful pick, all the picks are outstanding.Kudos to the new GM and Head coach.I like where this is going y’all,I do.Also Marcus is gonna have some fun first before the keys are handed over….Just watch

Cody Locascio

I honestly had this kid as QB1 of the draft

Tough Guy

Y’all in the comments saying he’s bad are gonna see when he wins MVP one day

T-Zips209

Hell yea someone who will run now! Still love Matt Ryan tho. No doubt it’s going to be a long wait again until we have another QB like him. Leadership, String arm and deadly accuracy!

    Dr Jay

Lol matt ryan isn’t the slowest runner. He’s deceptively quick, and best of all, he doesn’t get injured.

lllMAD KINGlll

awesome.. can’t wait to see Desmond as a starting QB.

TheMeteorMan22

The Atlanta Falcons chosen a good quarterback in this year’s draft and that is Desmond Ridder a terrific talent that will showcase his skills in the NFL him and Drake London going to be on the same team together it’s going to be special.

Jahshawn Watson

Nah real falcons fans can finally have something to look forward to I still can’t believe it we really picked him 🍾🏆🎉🥇

The Byrd Collective

Just happy we finally have QB that can escape pressure. That was the weakest part of Matt Ryan’s game. He runs at the speed of a mobility scooter from Walmart

Greg Thomas

Y’all definitely got this one right, huge steal. Des is a baller and extremely intelligent. Always have and always will be a Bengals fan, but y’all better believe I’ll be watching the Falcons whenever possible. l Couldn’t imagine him going anywhere else, great fit. Stoked for y’all and Des!
