If Watson had to return to a bad team, he might have issues with rust. The thing is, the Browns have Nick Chubb. Defenses have to stack the box to stop him. If the defense is putting 8 men in the box, it’s going to be A LOT easier for Watson to throw.

If defenses aren’t playing 8 men in the box to try to limit Watson’s passing, they can just give it to Chubb to tear the defenses apart. Unlike when he was in Houston, he doesn’t have to carry the offense.

Playing beside Nick Chubb has made Brissett & Baker look competent, and we’ve seen how much worse both looked like on other teams. Hell, Baker probably the worst QB in the league this season. Just imagine what Watson will be next to the power of Chubb.

I see Matt Ryan starting next year over Baker. Respectively as a Browns fan. And I see Deshawn Watson a whole waste of 200+ million $$’s as his allegations are gonna continue probably. So us Brown fans will wait another “guaranteed” 4 years for another QB. Hopefully we have a new whole front office and coaching staff that can see that. Instead of waste talent on failed “high valued players” Miles Garrett won’t be like he use to be in another 4 years and it’s a shame. Cleveland waste his prime on poor front office talent and players that failed or “showboated” Arch Manning hopefully in 4 years if we’re smart. After watsons contract. Even 3 years. And we can just go from there with a rebuild. But again as a browns fan. Won’t happen 😂
