also shows how much you got to trade for a young QB… He is also highly paid so not only do you lose cap space you lose 2-3 first round picks plus a player or 2nd it’s so much better to just get a QB after the contract or draft one trading old ones might be easier but young talented ones will take a debt

Watson can play for the Panthers and they can get into the playoffs easily without injuries- McCaffery, Dj.moore, Curtis Samuel, Robby Anderson and Watson. It will be a pretty good team.
They have a terrible defense tho
Just middle of the pack, the defense is not terrible though. Some solid/good players in Derrick Brown, Brian Burns, Jeremy Chinn, Yetur Gross-Matos, Donte Jackson (although he is boom or bust), Zach Kerr with some solid contribution last season. It is a very young defense but they can only get better over time
