Bring back Lewin, he’s the true voice of the Chargers. His calls were the best!!! When he called the lightning bugs walk off against Indy in 08 I was so impressed by his ability to react so quickly while providing amazing commentary. Matt’s call of gates record TD was a let down, I’d rather hear lewin calling a 5 yard run

@Kareem C Unfortunately I was the biggest Chargers Fan East of the Mississippi river . I started watching the NFL in 1980 and I fell in love with a team with Yellow Lightning Bolts on their helmets . Since Ive lived in Mississippi most of my life i haven’t had the chance to watch every single game . When I was a teen the Miami Dolphins were on every week on NBC and the Saints and Falcons were on CBS and later Fox . I got to see the Chargers 3 or 4 times a year for almost my whole adult life . 1980 to 2019 . Ive had to defend my favorite team more times than I can count and Ive accepted almost every stupid decision that the Chargers have ever made . But for a team to let go of a future hall of fame , bolo tie wearing , gosh darn it , dad gumm top 5 in almost every statistics quarterback ……..that stayed with the team for 16 years and still throwing 4, 000 yard seasons , never missed a start , tough as nails Philip Rivers 17 …………….God Damn the Chargers for making me pick because by golly its not easy . Did you see the Chargers OLine last few years ? I feel like wayyyyy too much blame was put on Rivers and nowhere near enough on Tom Telesco and Anthony Lynn . Dan Fouts , Junior Seau , Philip Rivers ……I wanted nothing more than to see those players win a Lombardi wearing a Chargers Jersey . San Diego Chargers might still be my favorite team without a Philip Rivers …………….but I could care less for Los Angeles , Tom Telesco , Anthony Lynn or the Spanos Family .
