@D3 it’s a pectoral injury and not a lower extremity. Its still a significant injury for a physical corner like Marlon but I expect him to be Fine.

@Macaroniandcheese that’s 1 game bro in a matchup designed for years. Our defensive scheme last year had the corners on an island way to much.
You can have the best corner ever but if you leave him on a island 45-50 % of the time, he well get torched as well.
The Jets no name secondary kept Chase quiet, as well as the raiders, charges and browns both games. If the scheme is improved I believe the secondary will be fine.

I never thought we would go for a 1st Round corner, but here is why this would make sense. He practiced against JaMarr Chase and Justin Jefferson, he has blazing speed, and he would be the perfect guy to compliment Peters and Humphrey. Its either him, Jordan Davis, or one of the pass rushers.

I don’t care who else is on the board at #14. If this kid is available he’s a no brainer and this comes from a FSU fan who thinks Johnson will be the best Edge Rusher in this draft. Pass rush is need and it’s a deep draft for it however having a CB who can take a teams #1 WR away is rare. This kid can do that. Stingley, MP, Marlo and Williams would be a force💪🏾😈

Guess you guys forgot we have NO pass rush and everyone SHOULD know if you have a good pass rush or at least a decent one that WILL help out the secondary BIG TIME… You can only cover for so long till someone gets open
