@Craig Schruhm because the defense does something called adjusting . Then the receivers need to adjust too, the best of them do which jeudy really isn’t at least yet. Sutton is good but not great. Russ is putting it all out there but not much you can do when receivers don’t find ways to get open, running game can’t help, and o line is playing with skates and blindfolds. Yea it’s not all on Russ but they aren’t really helping him that much either

Good game. Seems like Denver and Wilson were playing much better even though they lost a Close Game.
They looked much better. Two good teams out there tonight. That was what I have been waiting for…the ability for the Broncos to compete with a top team!

Chargers looked better imo. Herbert made the throws when they needed them and the Chargers had 24 first downs and the Broncos only had 13. Chargers were 11 of 22 on third down efficiency and the Broncos were 4 of 14?!! Chargers were the better team and the end score has proven it !!!

Kickers already get the bonus of being able to be a kicker on a football team. What else would they be doing?

Tranquil is one of the most underrated LB in the league. The guy is an amazing tackler and run stuffer, and his zone coverage a good but could be better. Staley needs to have a talk with Joe bc his play book just seems to me getting smaller and smaller every game

12:01 What a play by #36 on Chargers punt team. Broncos called fair catch, but 36 shoved his blocker into the ball and receiver. Super heads up to realize he can do that! Game winning play right there!
@Anne Marie it is illegal if the broncos player wouldn’t have engaged him, but he gave him his passive player mark when he put his hands up to block, literally all he had to do was stand 1 step farther from his receiver, and not put his hands up to block and it would have been called. The broncos player did it to himself and the team no one else to blame on that one.
Why was the broncos player blocking if it was a fair catch 🤦♂️🤦♂️

#98 Mike Purcell for Denver does a lot of diving head first into players that are down or players that are going down in a defenseless position. He’s the one that called for the penalty at 9:00 and he can be seen doing that on numerous other occasions (like here 2:56). He’s a headhunter and is going to seriously hurt someone.
💥💥 I like the fact that the defenses around the NFL are playing real well and holding a lot of these offenses in check this year this reminds me of NFL football from the 2000s and the 90s.
This game is a reminder of how important special teams are.
I love how Russel left because he wanted to get sacked less, but it looks like he’s getting sacked more… but yeah that defense looks scary from the chargers!!!
