⚜️ New Orleans Saints History:

Scott Donald

Sean Payton spent 15 years building a winning culture. A superbowl, four 13 win seasons, building high powered offenses while developing Drew into a hof quarterback. He gave Saint fans pride. What you’re seeing now is the dismantling of what Sean built through poor coaching, poor play calling and a complete lack of leadership. It’s embarrassing.

    tdf tdf

@Flash ATG I blame the front office for hiring him as a head coach!

    Stephen Price

He left because he had nothing else to prove.

    Steve McCarson

@Guy Lindquist tried taysom last year he’s great don’t get me wrong he just can’t read a defense

    Guy Lindquist

@Steve McCarson So, after 10 games and an 8-2 record you came to the professional and well informed opinion that he can’t read defenses? LMFAO. But Jameis can because he throws to them all the time. Get real buddy.

    Daniel Toth

@G you don’t have to be a d bag about it. I’m definitely not crying. Just pointing out that if your team suddenly goes from being dominant to one of the worst in the league you would be upset too. Look at the Patriots and what happened to them when Brady left 🤣
I felt bad for them. The whole NFC south sucks this year though. So who really cares 🤔

Space African Jesus

I would call him a fraud but he was never good to begin with 🤷‍♂️

Shoutout2Tommy

I pray I wake up tomorrow to news on Dennis Allen being fired. Most coaches need to go honestly. This is just pure embarrassing

    Bitter Buffalo

Firing him mid season sets you up for disaster. Why would any respectable Coach wanna Coach a team that fires mid season??

    Truthseekr

@Bitter Buffalo because DA (and PC) absolutely suck with a talented roster. Injuries aren’t even an excuse because starters somehow suck now under his coaching. A good candidate will see that and know they can do MUCH better. A ham sandwich can do better.

    The XannyPhantom

@Bitter Buffalo if the pay check is good enough that “respectable” stuff goes out the door

    Melo

@Bitter Buffalo I be trying to tell people this!!!

That’s like getting a new job and you hear rumors how they fire ppl for being late

    saintzig

@Bitter Buffalo one it’s not mid-season. Two it shows that if you suck you will be fired. I’d have fired him before he got off the field after the Pittsburgh game. Dude had is hands in his pockets looking at the ground for answers in the 3rd quater on a 3rd and 8. He does not know what he is doing.

Chris Carter

One of the worst losses in Saints history. Dennis Allen had our guys in prevent defense for the last 4 minutes, after they dominated the whole game. Playing not to lose, throwing a slant on 3rd and one, worst case TB calls a timeout. And best case we get a first down and it’s over. TB won with 3 seconds left.

    Guy Lindquist

yep, 3rd and one was perfect opportunity to put the Taysom package in. Even if he doesn’t convert TB has to waste a TO. Winners find a way to win and losers find a way to lose. Brady is a winner and DA is a loser.

    Brant Fekete

@Guy Lindquist that’s exactly what I was thinking why not run Taysom on 3rd and 1 and if he is stuffed so be it I would have taken those odds and like you said even if he gets stuffed that forces them to burn another timeout absolutely awful coaching.

    Iggidy Babii

Ingram loss us the game not the defense

    Ross Benners

@Iggidy Babii just rewatched that play – the hell was he thinking? It’s honestly like we want to lose atm. Just horrendous – feel bad for the D in recent weeks… apart from Roby. Man, I don’t get Roby – man couldn’t tackle a sandwich.

stjohn

I love being a saints fan. I’ve been a saints fan back when a Herbert was quarterback we can only get points because we had the best kicker in the world. And it is so upsetting and demeaning when you know ahead of time the saints are going to lose. If there’s a chance to lose they’re going for that. That winning option that would be cool and all but that’s not us. But we rather take that losing option and we’re just going to do what we can to lose. Love you all have a good night

    OTX_ Cj

The worst feeling is knowing you’re going to lose man 😔🤷🏽‍♂️ & yk somewhere deep in that squad there is the talent to compete with anyone. I felt you when you talked about that before feeling 🥲

    saintzig

Yep. Life long Saints fan here. I love them but this fish rotted head first.

Spice_goat

even with most of the bad play calls on our last possession we threw the ball when we should have ran it to waste time. They ended up scoring with 5 seconds left.

    Babyman Tuck

Two huge 4th qt. plays. Adebo 40+ pass interference and Mark Ingram running out of bounds short of first down. He only had 1 yd. to make but apparently “injured” his knee. That was critical.

Michael Nicoll

As a Saints fan and suffering like the rest of us. It’s frightening to read the comment section and see the fans know more with what is wrong with our team and gameplay than the coach🤯🤯🤯 I’m curious to know Sean Payton’s HONEST opinion on this farce of a season 🥺🥺🥺

    voteZDLR

Sean may have left knowing DA would fail this miserably because it makes him look that much better by comparison which drives his stock up when he does decide to go to another team or whatever.

KWnumber1

DA’s lines every week: We’re gonna figure it out. I’m proud of the way our guys battled till the end(Even though they lost). Give them credit 😂😡🤬 Well the one good thing at least he not the clapper like Jason Garrett 😂👏👏👏

    Ryan Blanche

They didn’t play all 60 minutes, mainly in the final few.

Not how you start but how you finish

    ⚜️Veleka Harrell ⚜️

😂 right is him & the clapper 👏👏👏related somehow?!!

T- Boog

If Dennis Allen is still head coach next season, I wont be watching the games. His record is now 15-46 as a head coach. He will NEVER be a championship head coach. It’s not in him.

TID-bit RETRO

Throwing the ball late on 3 and 17 after the big sack was the killer. You’re not converting that run or pass, so just calling like a draw play would’ve ran enough time off the clock to extinguish any comeback hopes for Tampa. Boneheaded play call in that situation. Lol

    Happy Wrenching

Dalton dropped a dime and Taysom dropped the ball it’s that simple. Heck, if Landry catches the td earlier the game was over.

SEMINOLE

I claim to be no expert in body language, but this man shows absolutely no emotional attachment to this team I could be wrong he doesn’t get bad on the sideline he doesn’t get mad in the locker room he doesn’t motivate the team. He has the exact same energy when we win as he does when we lose, who is this man and can we send him back to where he came from? FIRE HIM

    Brandon Stephens

I feel you on that, it’s the exact same thing with Todd bowles. He doesn’t do anything to motivate or hype up the team. Doesn’t even smile or clap after tds. It’s frustrating that our qb has to be the one to bring the juice.

    G

The players seem the same way. If they don’t get rid of DA then we gonna see players like Kamara and Jordan jump ship to other teams

    MJK

Just like Brian Kelly at LSU!

    Ross Benners

agreed. not sensing any fire whatsoever. kills me

Blen Alemayehu

This was purely play call problem. The players actually have improved and played real well given the TB defense strength. But throwing the ball on 3rd and 1 is a rookie coaching mistake. This season is over and so should be DA as a head coach. He should go back to DC position and BEGG Deion sanders to come coach us. We gave DA multiple opportunities and week after week we are going home sad and disappointed. If only we gave Winston half of the chance and to be honestly Winston would have saved us 4th quarter.

Christian Novakowski

That’s what happens when you play for field goals and field position against the greatest clutch QB of all time. Kicking a FG on 4th and goal from the 1, playing lockdown defense for 55 minutes only to let the Bucs have everything underneath (the only passes they can complete) in the two minute drills. This team is just pathetic at this point, had a chance to be within a half game of the division and now they are completely out of it. I was excited to see what DA could do coming into the season but I’ve already seen MORE than enough to know the Saints will never win with this guy

Ryan Blanche

Pure choke job.

Plain and simple.

You absolutely cannot and should not lose games up by 13 with under 5 minutes to go.

Gundam

Coach is somewhere else , he’s emotionally detached. If Mr. Loomis and Mrs Benson bring this guy back next yr their revenue market and fan base will take a long time to recover

    Curtis Joseph

They are incompetent. I bet 1mil he comes back

    Scaledup YT

@Curtis Josephlol I believe it and honestly imma just make sure ion watch no games so I can still love my team

    voteZDLR

Season tickets are gonna go up for sale like wildfire too. Nobody wants to haul their way out to the dome for the damn food, that’s for sure. If the team is truly this bad, the only net positive for fans is season ticket packages will get a lot cheaper. Then you wait till they’re halfway decent again. Which will take God knows how long.

Ali

The two years when Saints lost that Vikings game to a journeyman QB and the next year when refs hosed them were their best shot at SB. Not sure without a QB they can do anything.

Shaun Landry

I have been a Saints fan for 16+ years and can’t believe how embarrassing this season has been. I had faith in the beginning in DA keeping the culture and the winning formula intact. Now I expect a lot of changes to be made and wouldn’t be surprised guys who have helped built this organization over the last several years move on because clearly they want something other than this dumpster fire and that is a championship.

    voteZDLR

That’s it? You’ve been a Saints fan during the good times only sounds like, if your first coach was Sean Payton (16 years ago). Welcome to the suck, this is like 1970’s Saints time. We’re not gonna be good again for another 5 years at a bare minimum. May as well go buy your Bengals Burrow jersey now. smh

TgoldenLe

I honestly feel very sorry for all the players, especially all the veterans. These coaching staff aren’t doing them any justice. Just sad 🤦‍♂️

Larry Shervington Jr

Anyone have any insight into Kamara’s touches or lack thereof. Seemed at some points in the game he was the THIRD option…even with Ingram visibly hobbled. I don’t understand that at all when he’s one of the most dynamic players you have in a game you’re controlling and need to win!

MJK

The Saints are once again the Aints! Unacceptable to lose that game last night.
