They should give him some real opportunity in week 1, no sense in rushing the young guys back if they aren’t 100%
He should start week 1. We have no WR with his height and speed and he is for real and smooth
@Affluent Apex Predator Would expect to see Bateman/Robinson on the outside to start week 1. Andrews at TE of course then for that last 3rdWR/2ndTE slot let likely get in there to take advantage of the big boy.

@DDMoney Like I said, we have a bias towards our own draft picks, it’s only natural. Especially with Newsome/DeCosta making the picks we’ve always had a lot of faith in the draft guys over free agents.
Make no mistake there’s nothing wrong with that, and it’s one of the reasons we have a tendency to hang onto draft picks in the organization for either significant portions of their careers or their entire careers.
Objectively speaking, I think Robinson will beat out Proche and Duvernay for the WR2 position alongside Bateman, mainly due to his downfield blocking and route running, but those guys can still learn from that experience being available. Also given Bateman’s propensity for injuries there’s a good chance Duv and Proche will see significant time regardless. I do think Isaiah Likely takes the 3rd WR/2nd TE position a lot of the time though, especially in the red zone.
@This is my youtube comment account Lets not label Bateman injury prone just yet, he wasn’t in college. What happened last year wasn’t ideal for him but it wasn’t season ending and what he dealt with at training camp was typical training camp wear and tear
@DDMoney Fair enough, this year should tell significantly more if the groin is 100% and if this “minor” injury in training camp isn’t an issue. I hope so.

This guy can be a monster when the play is called for him. If you throw this guy the ball 7 times a game he will be a pro bowler. His route running is insane. He is the best blocking wide receiver in the league.

@Ladale Nesmith All Facts!!! Go to any game when he is targeted at least 7 times and add the up to a season. Name one receiver that’s a better down the field blocker. If he gets 7 targets a game he makes the pro bowl easy.
