No way this guy hangs out after this season, even if they want him back…..
Why Because his friend was fired? The defense is the worst in the league. The secondary is historically bad right now. He’s more than likely angry about that more than anything at the moment and he is intent on trying to fix it. I highly doubt he is thinking about getting out of dodge and leaving this kind of a legacy.

You might be the only Lions fan that thinks that at this time. 😂 Hopefully injury’s and lack of talent are the reason why this defense has been so bad and AG can get it turned around.
@steve O our talent on defense is lacking. You can tell just by watching the games that our players are out matched in most situations where we give up big plays. Players need to execute

I’m happiest about the fact that they are at least aware that it’s not working and the only way to see different results is to start changing things! Let the fine tuning commence

People have been scapegoating AG for a while. The ENTIRE defense is not historically bad, it’s the secondary that contributes to that. There are teams with worse rushing defense than us, believe it or not. Young players, injured players, bad players, but apparently fire AG? Don’t be ridiculous.
I mean they’ve given up the 6th most rush yards and the 10th most pass yards so you’re comment seems inaccurate. Also, he had the #31 defense last year and this year it’s #32 and historically bad. Maybe he is juuuuuuuust a little bit responsible for that?
Edit: it appears as if they are 31st in rush yards allowed per game and 27th in pass yards allowed per game. So again, your comment seems to be very inaccurate
We have record setting bad defense and this guy is still here. 1st overall pick here we come

We definitely need more stud players, losing Walker was painful for sure.
Hearing AG talk, I know us being super young is hurting the team pretty bad at the moment, I know we have a ton of draft picks, but seeing how good of players this year we’re traded for 2nd rounders I wouldn’t mind seeing us use some picks to go out and get some legit young veteran help next offseason.

Even when our DB’s are in good position they’re never playing the ball their backs are always turned you don’t see that in good secondary’s.

@AlmightyKingClark Okudah is playing extremely well and Hutchinson is probably the frontrunner for DROY. Malcolm Rodriguez is maybe mid tier depending on what you mean by that

Our defense is not that bad, our offense lost 4 games for us our defense lost 3 games … how can anyone say it was all defense
Detroit defense is the worst defense in the NFL statistically since 2000, ranked 734 of 734 teams. The defense IS that bad.

@Billy the Kid Balboa Annd yes, all those games that Detroit lost while scoring 35-45 points with sustained offensive sequences would not matter in the slightest. Stop making excuses and just accept the facts. This defense is an ALL TIME BAD defense. Literally the worst defense in 22 years.
