I’m pretty sure that’s been the plan all season, we just didn’t know it. When Ballard said “I’m tired of bandaiding it.” I’m sure drafting our franchise QB is what he meant.

It’s just you lol no need to clean house period. Lots to do in free agent resigning and signings and draft so let the people who are payed to make those moves and calls do it we all shall see how it turns out.
@James I don’t know man, this is sports haha, we speculate. So with that said, other than JT and guys on rookie deals, who do you keep on our offense? I mean D was solid-ish most of the season (top 5 for a nice chunk of the year) so I can see keeping a lot of talent there. But yeah, who deserves to get paid on offense after this season. Who put out genuinely good tape?

@Brock Filbrun lol you obviously did not see who is on the list of free agency lol what about other key positions like defence.. you think you will have the same top 10 defence if you let 10 players walk lol then you whiny fans will be complaining about rookie QB and defence issues next yr lol. There are 10 players who need resigned and your not going to get anyone at there price in free agency and your not going to have enough picks or money to get them in the draft.
All three QBs have been under duress. I can’t put the blame totally on them. Plug and play, same result. Peyton Manning would never have had a shot at a Colts super bowl with this team. Manning too was a pocket passer. You could clock him with a calendar as he was not nimble on his feet either. But he did have an offensive line that could block. Matt Ryan is a better quarterback than the results have been. Having a QB that can scramble is good but if he is having to scramble then the problem would still persist and the chance of injury would be greater. Colts need an overhaul and a few rebuilding years.

If you honestly thought a 33 year year old Nick Foles was the better option with this oline then Ehlinger, you deserve at least a year in Guantanamo Bay
agreed. Sammy should have been the starter since the day they gave him the spot. going back to Matt a guy qith a broke arm was a huge mistake. shows Jeff is actually scard even though he says he is not. or Jeff don’t understand what happen b4 he got here. and had to find out himself what we already knew.

Sam looked and threw it better than foles without having time to practice with the starters as well. Defense loss the commanders game. Pats game was the worst o- line performance of the year. All 22 showed the receivers wern’t even out of their breaks before the pressure was there. Saturday just believes in veterans. Let them lead from the side if they can’t play anymore. Foles is not gettinf better. he has been in the league like 10 years. should let the young guy get the experience.

I hope fans and Irsay will give him time – he’s a great leader and coach, they just don’t have a playmaker at quarterback. Creating a supportive culture is the most important part of a rebuild, and Saturday has the nature and experience required to help players continue believing and looking forward, just as Dan Campbell did. With luck, this losing streak is a blessing, and the Colts draft a great quarterback, along with finding an OC that fits their style.

We need at least one win before the season is done. Sir. I cannot tell you what to do, but I think it would be wise for you to give Sam a chance to be on that field as QB. If you never saw Sam play as QB… then why did you remove him blindly? Oh my goodness.🤦♀️ That was not a good call.👀
