This seems so dysfunctional and really seems like they don’t want to prove frank right by playing sam. Saturday looks very bad here after benching sam for matt. He knows we know the world knows what nick has to offer and it’s nothing at this point in the season. Not because nick is a bad qb but we are not making a playoff push this year. I’m very disappointed on how this experiment has played out.
Yep it’s a change but the chances are probably going to be the same. A qb with the deer in the head lights look not know where to go with the ball. Another colts lost
I will never understand not starting Sam….
He played pretty well in his first start against Washington m, and we should’ve won the game.
Then in his second start everyone knew what BB would put him through, as he does it to all young QB’s & Sam looked bad. I think he needs a few more games to get a fair assessment…..
We have nothing to lose by starting him at this point.
They started him two games and he lost both Ryan is 4-8 Sam is 0-2 Foles is 0-0 so in three games or at least in two games he deserves a shot to. I don’t see Sam leaving the team unless they cut or trade him so he has time.
The Sam experiment is over, look for him to be off the roster after the season
@Onyx Racing so even more of a reason to start him these last few games then! You don’t care if he gets hurt, because you don’t plan to bring him back and he gives you the worst shot at winning.

@Onyx Racing that wasn’t enough time to evaluate. Commaders game he should have won. Patriots game, there was no where to throw by the time the pressure arrived. The film breakdowns showed this. They also got pressure with 4 consitently. Don’t be bias. If two games is all you need to evaluate a young qb, there are hall of famers that wouldn’t have a career by the way you guys access things.
Yes, the experiment with Sam Ehlinger appears to be over. Next year will feature the new drafted QB and either Foles or Ryan as the veteran backup. The new drafted QB doesn’t necessarily have to be in the first round . . .
I would rather have seen Sam get a chance to progress. I think it’s just indicative that he’s not ever getting a shot to be QB 1 here if he can’t close out a lost season.
We’re paying Nick enough… he needs to at least start a couple games 😂
