    You’re just proving my point. I trust Robert Saleh and every other coach and players opinion of him over yours. He absolutely, 100% will get a second deal with the Bills. Even if he isn’t as good as Warner or Leonard, he’s deserved his pro bowls and is still younger than those guys.

    As for thr Milano comparison by someone else, Milano gets to be Milano because Edmunds is Edmunds. They are complementary pieces who are asked to do different things. It’s a silly comparison. He’s not as good as Jordan Poyer or Tre White either. So what?

    @Saverio Persichilli same way they didn’t like Tyrod even though he led us to the playoffs for the first time in ever. As charitable as they are, and as good as they are at tailgating, most Bills don’t actually know anything about football and are born complainers.

    isn’t it odd that throwing a TD can lower your passer rating. A little strange haha!

    @Benjamin Mckay The reason is that passer rating is done on a scaled rate of your stats across throws, where to hit a perfect passer rating, there are cutoffs. It’s 77.5 percent completion, 11.875 TD percentage, no picks, and 12.5 Yards/Attempt. Allen’s TD percentage was already well above the needed cutoff for perfect rating, so throwing another TD didn’t add to his passer rating, but the pass being only 1 yard dragged his Y/A rate down from 12.8 to 12.3, falling below the cutoff for a perfect rating. It sort of also illustrates the limitations of passer rating since the cutoff points for so-called “perfection” are kind of silly and don’t really take into account situation or value added from a play.

    @Matthew Chen Yeah absolutely, any composite stat/formula is gonna be exploitable or show its limitations in certain situations, QBR similarly has its weird quirks and flaws. The 33rd team has a interesting in house formula of their own the comprehensive passer metric (CPM) that they created in response to some of the weird ways traditional passer rating and QBR work. Still though, even that can’t perfectly factor for every situation.

    I imagine that’s why PFF was created, but once again that has its downsides as well.
