I think he will be better than forte if the bears Keep him when it’s all said and done. Love forte, but Monty can pick up
those extra yards and keep trucking. Thought Monty was a amazing pick when first got drafted but Nagy and his play calling has hindered him
I still believe like Mitch. Jordan Howard was blackballed. If Nagy was a real coach with any kind of vision he could have had both Howard and Monty for at least one season
@Mirza Baig I agree we probably could’ve had both. But Howard was ready to be a starter. He probably would’ve asked for a trade if he knew Monty was gonna come in and compete for that role.
Keep that line strong, and watch my guy WORK! Got started slow, but started hitting in the second half! He’s gonna be a great leader in the next few years.

@loyaltilltheend 1 Nah that role will stay with Montgomery. But Cohen is terrific off play action and now that we’ve been using that method a lot it’ll work really well once he comes back next season. He’ll be used very similar to how he was used in 2018 and Monty will be the hard hitter and gain those tougher yards.
