Honest to God, I said like 2-3 years ago David Long needs to start. I remember dude was balling out when Jayon Brown got injured. He was always making good heads up plays and was a tackling machine. I thought we should have started him in the playoffs over Brown even if he was healthy. Brown got healthy and ended up starting over Long, which I felt was a mistake. Brown ended up getting hurt again vs the Patriots on a tackle on Gronkowski injuring his shoulder. Brown started vs the Ravens the next game and played solid. Then we got to the Chiefs and didn’t understand why they couldn’t see Longs potential and talent…They started Brown I believe…But everytime Long was in he made plays. I’m glad dude is thriving now, he could potentially be a superstar.
