Yesterday’s press conference:
Pierce is freaking awesome. He was a stud LB that was the leader of the defense for the Giants multiple Superbowl runs. Super smart player and obviously coach. I can’t wait to see him mold Deablo into an All-Pro LB by next season while showing signs of it this season and turn the leader of our defense Perryman into an All-Pro MLB this season while coaching up Brown and Young to make this one of the best LB units in the league!!! If anyone can, it’s Antonio Pierce!!!
Hardegee is kind of a nerdy no nonsense, all business, the perfect kind of detail oriented guy to get Carr and the QBs fully integrated into the system with a complete and comprehensive command and mastery of the offense… that’s perfect!!!
Leatherwood yoked up and looks good, and he sounds far more confident and a lot more comfortable than he did last year. I’m excited to see his growth, development and overall improvement. He’s got the size, skills and abilities, last season it was all mental…, he looks ready. Confidence and concentration are key to Leatherwood playing at a very high level. Rookies make mistakes, he had some lapses in focus because he was stressed from a lack of confidence which is understandable considering that Cable was his coach. I fully expect him to be absolutely dominant this season and far many to come. I can’t wait to see it!!! I fully trust Bricillo to get our entire O Line to play as a cohesive unit that is far better than anyone expects and not only protects Carr, giving him plenty of time to find the open receiver and utterly eviscerate opposing defenses, then constantly provide ideal running lanes for our RBs to demoralize opposing defenses as we closeout large margin victories, regularly.
Abram don’t want to have to answer questions about the 5th year, that’s understandable. I think that he will be a lot better in coverage. It takes time to learn and get comfortable playing a very difficult position. 2 high Safety is a no mistake position… safety as its name implies is obviously the last line of defense, so a mistake means at least a field flipping play, worse a touchdown, and at worst a game-changing play… I hope that he’s been studying and bust his arse = getting coached up and trained one-on-one by a knowledgeable coach that is able to explain exactly what he should be doing in every situation while drilling it into his muscle memory so that it’s second nature. I really hope that is the case and that he plays at the level a 1st round draft pick would going into his 4th season!!!
Bolden is funny, he’s got skills and I think he’ll be freakin awesome catching the ball outta the backfield with plenty of room to run with our elite receiving core clearing out the coverage in our offense… he’s good for a whole lot of huge 1st down conversions on 3rd and medium and long with game-changing plays regularly!!!

I freakin love this Raiders team. I think and feel that Derek and Davante will actually be better than Aaron and Davante. I know the haters will say what they will, but I’m putting it out there, and really, please don’t even bother replying until you actually see them play this entire season… because Aaron has had elite receivers his entire career and Derek hasn’t until now!!! We saw the connection that Derek had with Crab… they were phenomenal together!!! AND I love Crab, but he too would admit that Davante is on a whole other level!!! So, y’all can’t judge Derek for the past. We all know that no matter who played QB for those Raider teams, they wouldn’t have been much better and they sure as heck wouldn’t have won the Superbowl, but this Raiders team can and will and are winning Superbowls!!!

DBC Jason Simmons sounds like he’s taking advantage of the opportunity in LVR . Love to see it and love how he talks about brewing competition in that DB film room.

FS Tre’von Moehrig seems poised for a breakout season. Putting in that work in the weight room while continuing to learn the game from the shoulders up with film-study and attention to detail. He sounds like a mature guy beyond his years and wouldn’t be surprised if he was a team captain, sooner rather than later. Talks about accountability unlike some other players.

Imagine AB giving these well thought out, humble responses. What a great football mind Adams is.

There is so much versatility with players being able to play multiple positions and have different skill sets! So many options , gonna drive coordinators crazy!

I love how he says “I don’t know if I told ya’ll…” with 100% seriousness and the media is like “uhhhhh yeah… we talk about it all the time…”

I love how he didn’t jump on the political question, he’s focused on one goal. Raiders lucky to have a person that focused and devoted.
