I think Darrian Kennard will beat Andrew Wylie for the starting RT job in training camp. I think they want him to be at RT with reps at LT in case of OBJr.

Weaknesses
Oversetting needs to be monitored and corrected. Lackadaisical approach in his pass punch. His mirroring cracks during second half of the rush. Hugs and engulfs rather than working with inside hand placement. Struggles to get block centered and keep it there. Sloppy feet diminish contact balance. Falls off the block due to narrow drive steps. Needs improved technique for double teams and work-up blocks. Spends too much time on the ground.

Scouting reports generally leave me wondering. I remember someone on the national media was scout Patrick Mahomes pre-draft and stated, “He is a gunslinger, he will throw a lot of touchdowns and just as many interceptions.” Actually 93TD 29INT.
Some scouting report had Leo Chenal as not being athletic.
I don’t know how Darian Kinnard can have so many flaws while play RT and still be the top lineman. I guess training camp will tell.
@John Box my naivete may cause me to trust Veach more than I should, but with Bolton, Creed, and Smith last year… I’m pretty hopeful
I’m actually more exited about the upcoming season than I have been in a while. It was inevitable that we would have to deal with player turn over during the “Mahomes Era”. IMHO…Veach and the front office did their due diligence replacing key player components and I’m excited to see them come together under Reid. We have a brutal schedule, but I still think we are going to have a great season. As long as we have Mahomes/Reid, we will ALWAYS be competitive💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👍🏼

DK was my favorite draft on draft day. Still is. Excited about the others too. Can’t wait to see him develop.

This guy is massive. Coming in the season after Trey with the same mindset about slipping in the draft and lack of respect. Trey will help him channel the energy to maximize what he has and learn to cope with the long grind of the season. I am excited
