This coaching staff is gonna bring dj above water I was up and down like the rest of the fans but I gotta stop going with the ups and downs and stay level and just have faith in this coaching staff and this team I think DJs going to do it this year it seems like this team is buying in to Dabes and the way he coaches
I so hope that this year is Daniel’s “break out” year…for his sake and for the team! I really like this kid and think he “has it”….just needs a good year to give him that next level of confidence and faith in himself! Go Blue! 💥

Man I love DJ. I really believe in his capabilities and he has a strong mentality and is self confident. All I’ve ever asked for was a competent Oline and Dline to go alongside him. This coaching staff looks good, hopefully it translates and DJ is our franchise QB. I also pray nothing serious came from his injuries last year, that hit against Dallas was brutal to my eyes.

Probably over analyzing here but seeing Jones with scruff and not clean shaven tells me he’s not focusing on how he presents himself to others or what others think of him, that he’s all in on just playing his game and focusing on what’s important. Can’t deny he has a different demeanor this year, more confident and self assured.

For y’all that still hasn’t cut the Eli umbilical cord and keep ripping DJ—- Eli led the NFL in interceptions 3 times and had 5 picks in one game! Eli played with Giants all time leading rusher and receiver, a far superior blocking OL, much better weapons and a solid defense. Finished his career with only a .500 record. Eli is still a great Giant because of the 2 Super Bowl wins (Tuck deserved one of those MVP’s) and his durability………Reporters usually mention Jones turnovers ( many are from OL line collapsing/ blind side hits or receivers balls bouncing out of their hands) …DJ has been hurried/hit on about every time he drops back since he came into the league- with the worst OL in the NFL. His running back and receiver weapons have all been injuried. DJ has been injuried trying to carry the team on his back. These are not excuses-just reasons I think that he has not played better and won more games. QB’s have turnovers. Defense is paid to make plays. I would just like to see what Jones does with a consistent better supporting cast around him. He is under tremendous pressure playing in NY. Watch last year’s first Washington game and the New Orleans game. DJ can ball. We need it consistently. Let’s support him and hope the Giants turn it around this year.
