or maybe the giants know the season is over and they want to see what the kid can do. in any event we have put up 17 and 14 our first 2 games which ain’t going to cut it. eli won’t win many games this year, why subject him to it.

I’ve heard Sterling and Slayton are on the mend and might make it to the next game. So that’s two weapons. Plus he also has Engram and Barkley. So I don’t think he’s really that short on weapons. I agree it’s a little sooner then I would have personally liked, but it’s clear that the team isn’t going anywhere and starting DJ likely won’t change the defense all that much. So they might as well get him reps early to prepare him as much a possible for next season when the Giants will hopefully be stronger contenders.
Yea if we went 0-4 or 5 I would have pulled the plug, but now Jones gets a full season can’t wait till next year
It’s still a huge upgrade from the sh*tbirds he played with at Duke. He’ll have Saquon and Engram — he’s never anything like had that in his arsenal — and by Week 5 he’ll be full strength with Tate and Sterling Shepard. The kid’s gonna do fine.

Lifelong Giants fans here, and I want to be careful with how I say this.
Daniel Jones throws a Joe-Montana-esque type of ball. It not a laser, but it has very good velocity, and it’s very accurate and catchable. That type of ball, is very difficult to defend against. He may surprise a lot of people very shortly.
I knew this would happen. Should have started him from game 1.

Giants fans will see a QB run for a first down for the first time since Jeff Hostetler. THAT ALONE is worth it.
I hope management keeps play makers around him through out his career…unlike Elis
