@Ivy Daniels LOL funny he is our best tackler, Its the DT’s who get Blown out, NO LBER can make up for awful Jags @ DT and DE for that matter. If the Dline isnt strong your LBers wont make big plays…But then thats obvious to most.

Don’t sugar code it Dan let the guys know it is OK not to be where you need to be on defending the run. These players have played around 10 years of football before getting in the NFL do.your job. Football is a game of discipline the game is the same from high school to nfl the only difference is speed and strength. Do your dang job…

Here’s a suggestion: Start coaching the defense on the actual field…not by calling the plays from the booth. Your players need to be motivated and coached up during the game.
If you need to be motivated,then you shouldn’t be playing football. You should motivated yourself it’s not the coaches or players too motivated you.
@Edward Dominguez I get what you’re saying. However, one of the many roles of a coach is to motivate its players.
This is the second game we have been out coached on defense schematically. The first was Philly and the RPO’s. We need strong edge setters, D-law is good but not consistent, we need at least the same on the other side. Then we need stud linebackers that are physical and good tacklers. Lastly our DB’s, especially are corners do not run support and tackle well. Teams know that and exploit it.

Our DBs don’t like to tackle; especially at CB. Dline is weak against the run as well. We haven’t had a true DT since Leon Lett. This from a Cowboys team with a legacy of drafting top DTs like Lilly, Martin, Manster, Jeffcoat, Pugh, and Lett.
You don’t need your corners to be run supporters. What they need to do is let Parsons play LB on run downs and stop with the DE stuff because he is not a defensive end!

Never traded amaretto he and dak was inking Lamb just hasn’t full devoted yet as a receiver he still has a lot to learn about the pro game that will come in time.
The receivers don’t separate… they just run poor routes….where is the tight end on a consistent basis… spread the defense out… they aloud teams to bunch coverage….send a man deep on the fly…. And the OC sucks and highly overrated

Where has Gallimore been? Guy is built like a tank and you’d think he’d be stout against the run but haven’t seen him making a play.

This game was lost in the 4th quarter thanks to Kellen Moore calling 18 pass plays to 6 runs when pollard averaged 5.3 a carry and Davis over 7 yards per play we need to stick with what got us to this point run the ball period don’t switch up cus dak is back run the damn ball the lose in on Kellen Moore!!!
I agree but the defense had more holes than Swiss cheese.
The DEs are built for pass rush. 250-270 is too light for strong run defense. LVE is great tackling 5-7 yards downfield. Diggs is terrible at run support.
Washington ran the ball 49 times last night. Even at 3.0 YPC, they controlled the clock, got 1st downs, and beat Philly.
At the least we need to get a safety in the box 1st and 2nd downs.
Dallas hasn’t addressed the defensive tackle position since Russell Maryland and Vanderbilt Esch is weak in the middle, he’s in Dallas because Jerry paid him on a discount price. Brown is horrible at cornerback never addressed. Its the same old Cowboys and the clock is ticking. Last point Dak can’t read defenses but people keep making excuses for him. I believe in getting your money but he isn’t worth the price that Jerry had to pay him, trust me Jerry knows he over payed for him because he was stuck.
Losing Jordan Lewis hurt, Barr being out hurt as well. I like Parsons on the pass rush, but I he seems to struggle with coverage. The defense doesn’t “stick” tackle as a whole to me. Solo – open field for a loss, passionate, run stopping D. Up 14 in the 4th we should’ve ran, ran, ran, punt, d up! Coaching gotta get better! Dak gotta get better! Zeke gotta get better. Receivers gotta get open and stop dropping passes and go thevextra mile. Dak gotta get back to scrambling and running. Like coach said… “Ratchet it up!” 😆
