One pride
Seeing the players and coaches talk you can tell there is genuine happiness and excitement. Its different with MCDC and his staff. From Top down in the org there is the same vision. He disseminates his expectations and lets his coaching staff do what they need to do. There is trust, there is cohesion, and there is unity. The air in the building is markedly more upbeat and happy. The players are excited and so are the coaches. I’m stoked to see them play in the pre-season and regular season.
@Michigun Santa 💯 truth – they also beat Dallas in the playoffs 2015 when the refs picked up the flag for defensive holding and/or PI on Pettigrew; that game, on the field, fair & square, Detroit beat Dallas 😡
Great assessment. I know that it’s very early but these are definitely not the “same old Lions”.

Last year we used our starters in the preseason every game for a lil I’m worried about injuries tho….
Sadly they needed the damn practice. Even then it took them to game 8 to figure out the offense. Looks like this year they’re a lot farther along but time will tell

Morning is better— I think it’s indoors. After practice, outdoors, that’s when you can’t hear the questions.
@427music if you click on CC closed caption sometimes you can read the questions as they are asked. Has helped me.

@Edwin BURKS, nope, I don’t wish for the Detroit Lions to finish at the bottom of the NFC North division. Detroit Lions will be having the Packers, Vikings, and Bears for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And Lions will have the Buffalo Bills for Thanksgiving Dinner.
The Detroit Lions will play to win, week in, and week out, and will show up and show out to clinch an NFL playoff berth to contend for the NFC Championship this season and seasons to come. Honolulu Blue and Silver to the top and for the win!

@Adam B34 I mean I can’t disagree because swift and hockenson do go down a lot. But they also brought in people who have never worn the uniform players like Chark Williams Hughes and Elliot all who fill positions of need. If you consider what they needed to what they got they’re no where close to the worst team, We we’re last season absolutely. When we had our whole practice squad elevated to the active roster stuff like that will happen though no one mentions the youngest roster or most undrafted rookies playing in the NFL, Just how were bad 😂 linebacker sucks but the defensive line should be towards the middle of the league with Romeo back and Hutchinson coming in

@Justin Duff Lol… Chark is always hurt and coming off a season ending injury, Williams is currently hurt and coming off acl surgery. Again, that matters. And a lot of what I’m seeing from Lions fans is that they will be good because they say so… which isn’t a solid reason

Head Coach Dan Campbell is just what Motown needs. The man is built like a F-350. I like that he has a “personal” relationship with every single player and coach. I’m so looking forward to great things this season. 6to10 wins this season and playoffs next season. I can’t wait for the whole world to see Coach Campbell and the new, look, attitude Detroit Lions when “Hard Knocks” starts on the 9th.

I wish he would repeat a small part of the question because I can’t hear the question, and than Campbell never repeats the name of the player asked about and i have no clue who they are talking about. Or get reporters with balls that can speak loud enough for the mics to pick up
