Haha, yes, it is sad, because their offense is almost there. But I hope now no one is calling to draft a QB early. They really need to go 3 out of 4 early picks on defense.
@Al Pardo for real, we do not have a defense worthy of winning a playoff game, if we do indeed get there this year. I suspect the first offensive draft we may pick might be a RB, if Craig, Justin, Jamaal or DeAndre have something happen franchise-wise. Of those 4, I want to grant immunity to Swag Daddy, people yadda yadda his age, but he’s been the most consistent for the 3 to 4 yard grabs at a time, right up the middle.
@DukeofGames50 l think you are right, an RB will probably be on the agenda somewhat early. Some think they should get that RB from Texas. But this is a deep year for RBs, and l think the earliest picks should be on D.
@Al Pardo completely agree. Defense first. I simply meant the first specifically offensive draft pick would be a runner, with a pick in the 2nd or 3rd round at the earliest
“You build a team a certain way…” and that team gets a chance to take control of its own destiny in the playoff race….and craps the bed against a 5-9 team. Not a good sign. I hope the head coach is right and they give a better effort this Sunday, but at this point its asking a lot for both Washington and Seattle to lose two home games. Playoffs are a long shot but at least nut up and play tough and well, unlike in Carolina.
