Dude is the realest coach I’ve seen in Detroit and I’m 47. no fluff and straight to the point. Love his transparency.
Why no mention of the last second touchdowns AGAIN because the back isnt turning his head around to see the ball so he can get in the right position to defend that pass.
Obviously I’m only talking about in the red zone/end zone. Time after time it happens that way. CB has his back to the ball it’s freaking high school stuff man!
I am happy we finally did win a game, but dam it’s our Achilles heal. Corners & Safeties not turning to look at the ball! I got to believe Dan knows this. So is it by design to build drama? What are we to think, one change and we stop loosing 4 games a year.
Good news is if you are paying FULL attention. The same guy got beat both times and I am fairly sure by the end of next week he won’t be on this team. Secondly, any other times I saw something similar it still was rookies. We have at least 10 DBs on this team that don’t suffer from that issue imo.
Gilbert concerns me a bit he and Boswell were the worst offenders by FAR
They are giving Tim Boyle a better chance to make the team as the number 2 by starting him. I actually prefer Blough. Boyle over throws and will be a interception machine
I think they’re going to start Boyle, but they’re also playing most of the 1’s for the first half. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the QB’s split the reps each half.

Sounds like this is the first game this year that they are actually making a game plan for the opponent.
I’m sure it will be pretty basic, but it’s still going to be a better preview for the season than the first 2 preseason games.
