    I don’t know what game you were watching, but Dak commanded this entire game against the #11 defense in the NFL. 21/30, 70.0% comp, 261yds, 8.7YPA, 2TD, 2INT, 91.1 QBPR. Juxtaposed, the crown-prince Josh Allen, 24/42 57.1% comp, 253yds, 6.0YPA, 2TD 1INT, 80.8 QBPR…vs the #31 ranked defense, the Lions.

    @JJ Dak is a slow starter in most games. If you watch his games closely, you’d know this. All of his 6 INT’s this year came 1st half. He hasn’t thrown a 2nd half INT this year, and he is money in the 3rd quarter. When you have data, your expectations are relative to the tendencies the player has. He managed the game well early, even with the 2 picks. I was encouraged by the nearly *6 min, 9-play drive* before the ball ricocheted off CeeDee’s hands and was intercepted. The 2 INT’s, I can make a case definitely for 1 and possibly both not being his fault. And neither were tremendously punitive as they resulted in long fields (NYG 31 and 10) and only 3 points. That’s why there are interceptions and “Interceptions.” (The careless, back-breaking, momentum and morale-destroying kind.) Dak didn’t have those.

    That’s the game I was watching.

That vault by Furgeson followed by trucking his tackler was just beautiful. Having 3 TEs with good hands has been a major plus this year. Love the double attack with Zeke and Pollard but not sure if that is gonna continue due to money… Pollard deserves to get paid- can they afford that with what Zeke is already making? 88 seems to finally be growing into his potential and Gallup is returning to form. Lots of weapons there and it’s beautiful when it all clicks.
Too bad for those 2 INT’s, otherwise a nice game for Dak although one wasn’t really his fault. He needs to settle on some of those throws, I notice a lot of times he’s really sailing that ball where the receiver has to make a leaping catch to bring it down, and that easily spells disaster when they miss or deflect it and you have D nearby.
As many positives as there were today, Dallas still needs to tighten up if they want to make it somewhere in playoffs. The Packers game was just awful and today really shouldn’t have been as close as it was with as many players as Giants were missing.
