Dak Prescott: That’s What’s Frustrating, Making The Same Mistakes | Dallas Cowboys 2020

@Hector Castillo you’re up 14-7, Dak fumbles, Browns score with short field position, then Zeke fumbles, Browns score with short field position again, then you don’t score, Browns get a FG before half. Our offense puts our weak defense in bad spots with slow starts and early turnovers, keeps them on the field, and they’re gassed early. The defense is weak, but when you put them in bad positions and keep them on the field, they are even worse. When you’re up 14-7, run the damn ball. Milk the clock. Dont turn the ball over. Keep your defense resting on the sidelines. Score points in the 1st and 2nd to allow your pass rushers to pin their ears back and attack the opposing QB. Imagine if Dak and Zeke dont have those early turnover and we kick FGs, bare minimum. We’re up 20-7… Browns are in a bad situation and the boys are in the driver’s seat. The offense has too many slow starts, doesn’t take command of the games. Fundamental football is lacking.

William and that’s where you make my point for me, it’s not the fact that dak can’t produce, it’s the team as a whole that’s making mistakes left and right, but to try and pin point the issues towards just one man. that’s what a lot of people have been doing recently so i just wanna make it clear that you can’t blame one guy for the play calling, the defense being bad, other players getting turnovers, or even dropping the ball when being targeted.

Samuel Grismore if amari didn’t slow down his route in that interception at the end on the game who knows what would’ve happened then.

@Steve710 lve been a cowboy fan for 35yrs……lm tired of EVRYONE giving dak a pass…most of his padded stats come late in games against loose prevent defences, because our offense keeps turning the ball over. Dak personally set a new NFL record with 8 turnovers in 2 games…yesterday, 14-14….then 3 offensive turnovers..31-14 halftime……and YES, our defence sux too.

@Justin Moore Dak has 6 turnovers in the last 3 games. 3 INTS, 3 Fumbles. 1 INT and 3 Fumbles came early in the game and led to opponent’s scoring. 2 INTs came late in games when we could have either won or made it into a 3 point game. When you know your defense is suspect, you do whatever possible not to turn the ball over and give your opponent even more of an advantage. When Dak is down by 20+ and playing against prevent defenses, that is when he truly shines. When it’s early in the game and the scores are even, you can count on a nonexistent Cowboys offense.

Dallas won;t win the Divsion over the eagles cause the Eagles will figure out a way to win 7 games and go 7-8-1 and Dallas will be 7-9. When I look at Dallas scheduled I don;t see many win on it. Won’t shock me at all if the NYG beat them this week Dallas is truly a sad NO talent team that is softer then a marshmallow and talks a big game but plays small

That wouldn’t happen because football in those days were “getting back to the basics.” Run the ball, play action pass, clock Management, no turnovers, or costly penalties. “We have a weak defense? Let’s keep them off the field with our elite RB! When they catch onto that, let’s play action and throw high percentage throws!”

Where was those yards Racked up when down 20-25 points vs a soft defense playing to not give up a big play trying to make a comeback again . Dak don;t rack up any yardges really when the games are tight.
