Really sad about Hamlin not only the player but the person

Damon Ryan

It is amazing how very little footage of this incident there is. I would like to see what happened but cannot. It sounds serious. I hope the guy is recovering well.

There isnt much to see tbh. He took a shoulder directly over his heart on a routine tackle. He got up, immediately fell back down. Looked like when somebody passes out from blood sugar. Scary.

It also just happened and everyones in shock still and will remain that way until his status changes. Im sure theres some cell phone footage and maybe its online already if not then maybe people are holding out,out of respect.

Chills man. Love this team cause the people are so great and inspiring. Now we just need Damar to come back to us.

I’m very Thankful that Damar has great physical condition that he is in. That is certainly in his favor. #3 Big Hearts are pulling you through.

I keep seeing a lot of “the show must go on” in the comments and it’s so easy to say something like that sitting at home on your couch…but the reality is that anyone with a child would not be so callus if they were to experience that first hand. Regardless of how anyone feels about the outcome of the schedule, it was the right call to put the player’s above all else. I feel bad for the bangles and the bills for even having to go back out on the field soon.

Good to see a former Bill is covering what is happening with our Bills. I appreciated Coy’s comments and perspective. All were on point given his career and his own experience. Thank you Coy for sharing your emotions. I too stand during Bills games. Go BILLS 🙌🏽🏈. Praying 🙏🏽 🙏🏽🙏🏽 for Damar.

Great interview. Very refreshing to see Coy Wire and hear his perspective , especially since he was on the field when Kevin Everett was injured as well as his own injury. Best of everything, Coy!

Praying for Damar and his family/team.

I first met Coy Wire in 2002 at the end of his rookie year. Coy was a tough, hard working player with a heart of pure gold. To hear him speak on Damar’s injury and what it meant to his teammates is a change from the “play at all costs” league mentality. Prayers up for Damar Hamlin and a complete recovery ❤️💯 !!

Coy Wire…always a class act. Thanks for sharing your story as we keep Damar in our prayers! God Bless!
