Cowboys | Will be cautious with DeMarcus Ware
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team will take a “conservative” approach with DE DeMarcus Ware (thigh) in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He hasn’t practiced all week but has refused to rule himself out and intends to travel with the team. “Nothing about him physically would surprise me,” Jones said. “We hope that if we are conservative — and he’d be the first to tell you if this were the Super Bowl, he’d be playing in it unquestionably, or if this were frankly a key game at the end of the year — but he and we want to look at the bigger picture, which is the season. So we probably are being and will be conservative there.”
Fantasy Tip: Have a backup plan to replace Ware in IDP leagues. It may be smart to sit Ware altogether, even if he plays.
