Dewitt McDidditt but the refs tend to throw more in the preseason a lot of players are still rusty and gonna make mistakes and the refs try to make more of a point in preseason since the games don’t count
Preseason is always heavily officiated
They intentionally call it tighter in pre-season. It affirms the rules and gives the players a chance to clean up the their game before the season starts.

It’s hard to see what the other qbs with the cowboys can do when they dont get to play with the good line. Alot of cowboy fans said dak was doing bad when smith was hurt and that was just one player missing imagine playing with all the good guys hurt . Cooper had no time to throw the ball.
