Cowboys | Miles Austin nothing special in return
Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said WR Miles Austin (hamstring) was just “OK” in his return to action in Week 6 against the Washington Redskins. “He’s clearly working his way back into it. I don’t think he looked as explosive as he did early on in the year. He’s clearly trying to get his hamstring healthy. He came through the game, looked like he was able to function, everything we asked him to do. But he’s a work in progress coming back,” Garrett said. Austin was targeted four times in the game and went without a catch, but he barely missed a touchdown on a pass that was deflected by a defender.
Fantasy Tip: The Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7 present another decent opportunity for Austin to get back on track after missing two games with the hamstring ailment. However, you have to wonder how healthy he is, and with Terrance Williams able to provide Tony Romo with another outlet, Austin shouldn’t inspire much confidence in his owners just yet.
