Cowboys | Jason Witten holding out hope for Tony Romo
Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten isn’t ready to rule QB Tony Romo (back) out for Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles. “I wouldn’t count him out until he’s out,” Witten said. “There’s no question. That wouldn’t surprise me, but I do think obviously this is different situation (it) seems like with the back and however that plays out. But you’ve got to prepare with Kyle (Orton) and go as if that’s the case and then see how it plays out.” Romo has not practiced so far this week.
Fantasy Tip: The Cowboys have stated that Romo probably won’t need to practice in order to play in Week 17, but we think that’s doubtful. You should already have planned to be without Romo this weekend. If he miraculously plays, deal with that decision later.
