Cowboys | DeMarco Murray has MCL sprain
Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (knee) is dealing with a left medial collateral ligament sprain in his knee, and he’ll undergo an MRI exam Monday, Oct. 14. Murray was injured in the second quarter against the Washington Redskins and entered the day ranked fifth in the league with 399 rushing yards. It’s unknown if Murray will be able to play in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy Tip: Murray will probably be questionable in Week 7, so keep tabs on his status during the week. It’s not a long-term injury, but Murray has been injury-prone and isn’t what we’d call a quick healer. If he can’t play, the Cowboys would likely go with some combination of Phillip Tanner and Joseph Randle in the backfield.
