Can’t make defense better if e keep Dak for 40 million

Sign Dak take all defense in the draft and try and get a Malik Hooker or Keanu Neal I’m free agency.

Don’t be so biased, he’s not top 5, he’s top 10 but don’t even go there, we saw 3 good games before he got injured in a small sample size, I still want to see a full season at that level

When Dak was drafted with a rushing champion and had 3 pro bowl offensive lineman. He struggled when Zeke was suspended. Jerry Jones was hesitant because he was sure if Dak could carry a team. Dak Prescott has developed and deserves to be paid but not so it handcuffs the team where it can’t afford to build a team around him.

This is an absolutely ignorant comment. Let’s state some facts… Dak is not a top 5 QB. Dak has asked for for $40+M money. These are facts and are not debatable.

Now, your comment is ignorant because the Jones’s have offered him $36M which means they had prepared for his salary. The simple fact is that Dak and his agent got greedy. Why should the Cowboys pay him #1 QB money for #10 QB play. He hasn’t won the big games and he can’t win without alot of talent around him. This whole thing is that simple. Personally I’d tag and trade him, as he’s not worth it. And for all of you who will say that I hate Dak, that’s not true. I’m saying that he’s a good QB. He’s not a great one. And he’s certainly not worth $40+M.

@ultramag05 You missed the point on my so called ignorant comment. All I was commenting of from the previous post saying Jerry Jones waited to try to sign Dak Prescott. Jerry Jones did not want to make a financial mistake. I agree Dan Prescott doesn’t deserve 40 million a year. He’s not Aaron Rodgers but he’s no slouch either. His touchdown interception completion percentage ratio is better that any qb that has worn the star. The way the NFL is right now it is better to have a qb that can run. Unless Jerry Jones over pays to get Watson there simply not many options out there. I think 36 million a year is more than fair but if that is not enough then they need to part ways.

@my75laguna If your last comment is how you feel, then we’re pretty close to the same opinion. But I’m going to stress this… Jerry didn’t miss anything here. Dak’s shown that he needs alot of help around him which is why they were on the fence about him early on. And at the beginning of the 2019 season, Jerry was very close to a deal with Dak but when Dallas won the first 3 games to garbage opponents, Dak and his agent got greedy and reneged on the tentative verbal agreement they had. That burned Jerry’s britches and resulted in the negotiating ending for that season. They offered him a really nice deal this year and he still turned them down. As far as I’m concerned, I’m done with Dak and his BS. He’s not worth what he wants. Tag and trade him.
